Simply delicious ?. Grilled and served hot, one of my favorite places in Astoria. Must try and you will come back for more?. Kofta Kebab &rice, they also serve a side salad and two cups of soup (vegetables).

One of a kind affordable food truck in NYC with open air grills. I constantly return for their chargrilled half chicken, their amazing free soups, and the shish taouk. A must try in astoria

Very rude staff. Ask a question and you get a chatter in their native language. Unhygienic practices. No gloves and the person handling the cash and giving people food was openly smoking.

Just fabulous. A must try street food.

Fresh food cooked in charcoal grill.Mostly i get half chicken combo which is delicious.Service attitude/behavior need to be improved.

Had the Chicken sandwich absolutely delicious!! Will return !!

after the guy told me it was $15 for my chicken over rice, water, and brisk, I angrily forked over the cash and walked back to the car thinking I overpaid. I open up the bag and see two soups and a full salad, accompanying my chicken over rice. $15 for all that felt like a steal and I felt bad for my reluctance in paying. So I'm writing this review to say $13 for the chicken over rice, soups, and salad was a great deal on top of the canned drink and water for $1 each. I actually do a stand up bit about overpaying for halal food, so ironically enough I wouldn't this time

Despite bad reviews I’ve been eating at Different Steinway restaurants/trucks/whatever you want to consider an establishment that sells halal food. This is by far is the best truck I’ve eaten at. This is now my 4th time eating here and I keep it simple. Chicken kebab over salad or over rice and it hits every time! Go get some you won’t regret it. U can sit outside and eat and chill. Grab yourself some red and white sauce too. No regrets.

Fresh and piping hot. The marinated meats, their aromas wafting down the sidewalk, are cooked over hot coals. Half chicken, beef and chicken kebabs, kafta over rice. Delicious, affordable sandwiches of the same perfectly grilled. Steinway Halal has fast and friendly service to top it off.

They already lost their permit and its hilarious that they opened a cart in front of their store to keep the business going. This way, cited businesses are allowed a second chance by opening up carts. City really needs to close down this loophole. They act like they own the street with their chairs and tables all over the street. Unhygienic people, BEWARE! No gloves, smoking a cig at the same time and making my food. Someone seriously needs to call the City and get them cited. I walked away from the place after I saw a guy taking money with no gloves on and then touch meat with those same dirty hands. Disgusting.
