Took a stroll around the neighborhood and decided to end my walk at the Astoria blvd Starbucks to find it closed! Should have checked the app or google. So i decided to go to this one on Steinway Street. When I git in I ordered my latte & ran fir the bathroom. It was locked when I asked the barista for the code to bathroom she said I had to wait until its not busy for someone to go open it. I walked by at least 7 other Coffee shops that I could’ve gone into to go to the bathroom and get coffee. However I chose to come to this one and I get told that I have to wait until it doesn’t get busy. So I waited as I’m waiting a young girl comes in and also needs to use the restroom she asks and she got the same response from a different barista that we would have to wait until it gets less busy. Mind you I walked an extra 15 minutes just to come here. Finally somebody comes around after I say I’m going to write a bad review and opens the door. I always write five star reviews and this is one that I felt I needed to write because she could’ve simply written the code down for me or just simply told me the code.
I just want to say , awesome service!!!Specially tonight the same girls always greet us and make us feel welcome. Drinks were on point!! Very well deserved tip and review.
ordered a caramel macchiato and it basically tasted just like hot milk and barely enough caramel syrup… the other Starbucks i have been to are different so i guess they didn’t put in effort here making the drink but employees were kind, so i understand

Not following health department regulations on animals in the establishment. Multiple people came in with dogs without staff saying a word. A license is required for a service animal not an vest bought on Amazon.
A place no napkin, no tray, no drink stopper … but they are Starbucks, Take it or leave
This location is okay size. People working there nice, treat you well most of time. Place is okay to better level when it comes to talk about being clean. Staff do their job good at making drinks as requested in time. I recommend this Starbucks location

I've been to this location many times. It's been over a year since I've visited and I was so disappointed! The service was slow and the barista let the area to check her phone and then come back. There were 2 ladies working and they just seemed so disorganized. They took forever to help me and then forever to help another woman who was waiting.
I love the Sale Team in the morning they are so friendly it makes your morning
