Wanted to enjoy the meal so much but unfortunately found a dead spider in the rice. I am providing 3 stars for the customer service (otherwise) and for the fairly decent flavor of the meal (prior to the unfortunate discovery).
Chinese restaurant in the middle of Austin street Queens very taste authentic food
This is/was a michelin guide restaurant. We went with 3 dishes recommended by the michelin guide inspector which included 1 appetizer and 2 entrees.All 3 dishes were flavorful and tasty. If you live close by or there on a weekday, they have a lunch menu that is relatively inexpensive.I would definitely recommend this restaurant.
Amazing flavors and proper sinus clearing sichuan spice. Eggplant in garlic sauce was delicious. Orange chicken actually had more white meat than batter. Mapo tofu was the one we wanted to try the most, cleared my sinus and went great with rice. The only issue was I'm used to having ground pork in mapo tofu so that flavor profile was missing but I'm okay with the vegetarian edition. If you expect ground pork perhaps ask for it.
No star. Ordered Mapo Tofu, which was just salty fried tofu with soy source. It shouldn't be called Mapo Tofu in tastes, looks, and smells. It was also totally different from the pics on yelp. $18 with minced pork. Very disappointing and NEVER GO BACK
Now, I am picky and I like a good value. The prices here are higher than the average Chinese takeout BUT THEY ARE NOTHING LIKE AVERAGE TAKEOUT. If you like that POW-IN-YOUR-FACE flavor go here!!! You won’t be disappointed in paying for the pleasure of eating spicy crunchy Dry Pepper Chicken. Or for the Yang Chow Fried Rice. Even the noodles were delectable. And that Kung Pao Tofu…..*drool* ^_____^I was sick yesterday, so I got mine delivered via Uber Eats and everything was piping hot and nothing got soggy. That crunch! Just thinking about it makes me want to order more.Give it a try! Sorry no photos, we ate it all up before I got the chance lol

Delicious spicy fish fillets with soft tofu and chilies - spicy, but not too spicy, really well balanced. Super slippery and silky fish fillets! Friendly service.
Ordered take out. Yolk fried shrimp was tasteless and had no sauce. Eggplant with minced pork was good but not great. Vegetable spring rolls tasted like they came from the freezer. Nothing special at all. Expected so much more from Michelin rated restaurant . Very disappointed
Nice clean place. Just another American style Chinese restaurant. Food are tasty but nothing special.
