I’ve walked by this place so many times and finally got to try it today. Scan the code by the door when you walk in to be on their waitlist, pretty popular spot so expect a wait time. Try the half and half broth base, my friend and I got duck as the non spicy side and the soup was really good! The spicy side was really spicy with beef oil, I’d probably get something different since it was too oily imo. Soup base starts at $20 and each skewer stick is $0.60, some items have multiple sticks.Overall an interesting and fun experience with friendly staff walking around to add water and more soup. Some of the ingredients weren’t as fresh so taking a star off, the wait time was like 40 minutes so taking another star off. Cool to check out in flushing if you’re looking to try something different!

Scan the code by the door to get on their waitlist (30-40min). Duck soup base was pretty good, get half & half so you can try different flavors! Soup base starts at $20. Skewer sticks are $0.60 each.

This is a good hot pot place to check out. The broth is very flavorful and authentic. The skewers come in a great variety of meat and vegetables, with some of their own innovative pairs (e.g., green pepper and beef). The service is a bit disappointing since the staff was very unorganized. They had three staff members coming asking exactly the same questions within 5 minutes, really making me annoyed.

Previously been here and wanted come back to visit again. Some of things seem to have change a little after covid like many restaurants. The price is acceptable and it's about $0.60 per skewer. Not much of drink selection I feel. The flavor was there and service was good. I when there a little before dinner rush so it was pretty quite. There is a parking across the street and a underground parking too. I would recommend give it a try but one suggest I would have for them and anyone going is the Taiwan sausage avold it because after cooking there was white spot on them. Not sure what those are.

Amazing service, very friendly and timely and considerate, dishes are very authentic, taste very good, children and adults are very satisfied. The price is amazing and will definitely come back often.

As someone from Sichuan, I STRONGLY ENDORSED this place. The guy who served us is THE MOST HOSPITABLE person in any restaurant I’ve been to - he’d give us chopsticks immediately upon hearing one drop, give us his honest recommendation of dishes, and remind us to not rush out because “it’s cold outside”.The food is super authentic- I don’t know why rating is so low.

The quality is ok. Meat is yummy but the price to food ratio isnt ideal. We went with 6 people and averaged around 50-60 per person.

Fun and tasty experience for our group of 5. Recommend going with a group of at least 4 to share the cost. I was a little worried at several reviews about this place being pricy, but with the membership card and cash discount, it came out to $32/person which I thought reasonable. We only got skewers and didn’t order anything from the menu. The broths are very flavorful, more intense flavors than at Spring Shabu Shabu. The duck and pickled radish broth is delicious! The décor is well done and it feels like you’re sitting in 1980s ChengDu, China. I usually overeat at all-you-can-eat hot pot restaurants, and I liked that you can pick exactly how many skewers to get.

As a Chengdu’er, I love it!! Very authentic chuan chuan experience and variety choices of food and mao cai. Although I like spicy broth, highly recommend the aged duck pickled radish soup broth!! So good!!

first time here was so good !and this second time was just ok
