Music very very loud, asked the hostess if they could turn it down and she told me no. We left.
The service was good, good food and drinks it a cool spot to go too.
One of my fave places to go, anytime of the day! Good vibe, great staff and delicious food. Not fancy, pretty laid back and colorful! Has indoor and outdoor seating. I would keep coming. One of my faves to order are the shrimp tostadas and fish tacos! Overall, I believe it is not the kind of authentic food I’ve had in my experience, although I’d keep coming for more. Drinks are good, fave drink is Southside of the Border! It has a nice spicy kick! Just putting in my review now, even though I’ve visited multiple times already. I’ve only come for lunch and drinks. Atmosphere is great. Bartender Christina is friendly and attentive!

Went here for brunch this Sunday. Food was delicious, I love their Guacamole! The sangria and mimosas pitchers were mixed well too. Brunch is $43 and you get a pitcher for every 2 people. If you want extra pitchers it’s an extra $45 each. So basically you’re getting an app, an entree, and a pitcher for $43. Seems good to me. Hookah is a bit pricey, I’m use to the uptown prices. Also the condition of the hookahs were GROSS (as pictured). They were dusty on the outside and the bowls clearly were not washed thoroughly. This is the reason why it gets 4/5 stars for me. Music was ok, I think they would do good with booking known DJs though. The place itself is really cute and spacious. I love the green wall!
Wasn’t worth the price we pay for! Ordered sparkling water and been charge for $3 for each glass of soda water. Food didn’t taste good and was way too salty. We ordered fajita steak and is so salty with the sauce they sautéed with. Grilled salmon was too buttery and so do the mashed potato. Our server, Pamela she is amazing and attentive and drinks was amazing and I’ll give ⭐️⭐️⭐️ for that. I don’t recommended this place for food but their spicy margarita is a must try!
Great food and margaritas. The only reason I'm giving 4 stars is the shrimp nachos and steak fajitas were a tad bit salty, just a little. I'll definitely be going back.
I had come across Skinny's Cantina because i had a music video shoot and i arrived in Long Island City 2 hours early! So i looked for a place to kill some time and bumped into Skinny's Cantina and said this is the place! The staff were super duper friendly and i ordered some food to warm me up. It was delish and what a wonderful atmosphere. People were laughing and regulars spoke about what a wonderful bar and restaurant this is. If im ever in the area again i will make sure to stop by again. Highly recommend to go if you never been here. I ordered the Salchipapas. So good!!!
My Fiance and I used an Pulsd voucher (2 Entrées and Bottomless Mimosas/Bellinis). My Fiance ordered beef crunchy tacos and I had the steak fajitas (it included rice & black beans, with sour cream, guacamole and 4 warm fajita wraps) both were very good and full of flavor! We will be back for dinner soon!
