Food taste great just needed to fry fish harder
I was there for the first time in maybe about 7 years. I looked at the menu and ordered the fish and shrimp combo with chips. Only to get home and there were no fries. I called the gentleman apologized. But the fish and shrimp was delicious. I will be making grits with my left overs. Nothing like fish and grits. They do take phone orders. 03/08/22. Yes I will return. Also glad that I had cash. After reading a review I see why.

Everyone is pleasant! From sister in the front to the young brothers who prepare your fresh fried foods in the kitchen. The food is seasoned and fried so so so perfectly. The smothered turkey wings? Get you some!Missing 1 star (which the issue could be resolved by now) only because of credit card processing. If the woman in the front isn't there, the gentlemen do not process a cc payment. Cash only. At those particular times, it 'was' a huge inconvenience. Was (unsure now)I haven't been back in a while; it appears when I get there, it's closed. But the listed hours have them open. The food is DELICIOUS, so between the random hrs and the credit card processing, it leaves my taste buds unfulfilled.

My husband and I came in a placed an order at the St. Albans establishment this afternoon, not knowing how long we might have to wait we noticed four stools turned up on the counter, I am 75 years old, my husband is 81 years old I have a problem standing, my husband placed a stool so I could sit......that's when the woman behind the counter rudely said, "they were meant to be up there, you're not suppose to take them down unless you have a problem standing, next time ask before you do". Well you don't have to worry about a next time. She gave us our food without even a thank you, no need to expect a next time for rude service,
I've only had the fish and shrimp here which I love. Diane is such a pleasure.
Thanks Seamorhen for making my Sunday! I hadn't purchased anything from you guys for a long while I had forgotten you guys. But, I'm so glad I came back. Everything was excellent. Especially The Catfish n Whiting. Will be seeing you again soon.
