This is a really great place for late night drinks, nice Caribbean music, there drinks are amazing with great prices, there drinks are worth it. BUT customer service can take forever, they put you to sit and forget about you until you have to call them to place an order. Other than very slow service it’s a great time for late night drink since they close around 3am.
Ordered a Miami Vice Drink, my host didn't order with alcohol, I asked, she was apologetic and tried to get me another. The so called manager refuse to take it back and give a new one! My friend took it back to bar area and left it. Mr manager had the nerve to say whether we left it there or not he was charging us, I had to tell him I want to see him try! I tell you it's always our people! The owner for this establishment is such a simple, polite, generous and fair man, to have people like this managing his place will be bad for his business!
Was my first time and the Experience was good!! However; We had two issues; 1 they took forever with our drink and we got the appetizer with our main course. Over all, I ENJOYED the live band ??will definitely be going back.
This was a place that I always visit with friends prior to COVID-19. We decided to return for dinner yesterday sat outdoors.We we’re served drinks promptly but waited for food 30 minutes. I was served half of order and was informed that the rest was coming.Well the rest never came and I am still waiting. Waitress kept apologizing but to no avail because the rest of food ordered never came. I requested to speak with one of the two managers and was informed that they will be here shortly, none showed up.This is very distasteful and poor customer service. I am quite disappointed in Sands.
Such a bad experience for our first time eating here, driving from the bronx.BAD- I ordered my food the same time as my mother, but didn't get served til 20 mins after her dish came out. My fish was warm, vegetables, plantain, and rice and peas were cold. We spoke to the manager who gave my waitress my plate back. It took anther 10 to 15 min to get a new plate of hot food back, and some how she forgot vegetables and plantain all together, and were the cold item on my plate.Also, I must mention my Moscow mule. I told her as soon as recieved my drink there was no alcohol in my drink, she replied that the ginger beer was strong and that was why I could not taste it! I should have said "Lady if you don't stop lieing." My mother was still waiting for her main course during all of this. She waited 25 to 20 minutes for her meal after I recieved my remade dish. Her dish came with warm vegetables as well, cold unseasoned mashed potatoes. She was so upset and just wanted to leave. So we got a togo container.WORST- our bill came and I was charged for a side dish of bammie I never recieved dispite asking twice for it. The menu online and in the restaurant stated my fish dish was 23.94, but on the bill I was changed to 26.00. When I made her aware of both issues, I was told it was management who made the change to the price, and dispite my pointing out the fact the online price and the paper menu said 23.95, she said it's 26.00 both of those were wrong and it's a management change. She would only remove the dish that never came.As a person that worked the resturant industry for 7 plus years I've never seen such lack of customer service. This is a disappointment coming from the bronx.
I celebrated my son's graduation dinner at Sandz Bar & Grill and I must say this was one of my most memorable moments. I made reservations for a large party and everything was perfect. The food was on point and fresh ( we had to wait a bit because it was made to order, but worth the wait), the drinks were delicious and the dj did not disappoint. We had a wonderful waitress, named Simone who was very attentive. Just to top it all the manager came over to check on the service and thanked us for coming. Thank you Sandz for making our night special. We will be back very soon!!!!

Visited on Mother's Day. Very popular and crowded. However they managed reservations well. Food and Drink was Awesome. Will visit on a less busy day! Ambiance was Splendid.
