Their food was amazing. Crazy atmosphere with hindi background music. We totally love them.
Food was okay,I found hair in my Thai soup. The waiter name Mohammed didn’t apologize or said anything when we showed him the hair in the soup. He took it and returned back very quickly without saying a word.Their service charge is 15 percent, but provides less than 2 percent service! The waiter wasn’t friendly no smiles and they didn’t offer us any discount for the extra ingredient(hair) we found in our soup. Apologies would be more than enough that time or a friendly smile!Honestly don’t waste your time going there by thinking you will get great service and the taste that you get in Bangladesh Chanise restaurants.?
When we went their they gave us rush to order. They said it’s busy time we need to make it quick. We were 15 people together from same family so we needed extra time to order. But the staffs or not friendly and not polite. Besides customer service food was not good at all. Worst Chinese with worst customer service. I’m not going there anymore.

They need to clean these stuffsIt’s so dirty but the food taste goodIt just the table, the sauce holder and the seats..
Food was average to me taste wise. You can't really compare it to desi Chinese food if that's your thing. Overall not bad. The chicken lollipop is a must try.
I was craving for some soup lately. My friend recommended shagor Chinese for they're chicken and veggies Thai soup. it was so delicious. I also have tried their chicken lollipop before, it was amazing.
Bad attitude not child friendly But food is very good
If you're Bangladeshi, you've probably heard about Sagar - from Montreal to Toronto, from Atlanta to New York, I've heard people from all over North America rave about this place. It's great that our community has a restaurant to point to and feel so much pride around. Their Lollipop chicken and thai soup were delicious. That said, while palatable to your senses, $13 for 6 pieces of two-bite chicken is very unpalatable to your wallet.Their sizzling beef was just that - all sizzle, with very little else in terms of flavour and was not memorable, and their fried rice was okay at best. The ambiance certainly felt like home - with a lot of Bangali families eating and chatting away, which was nice, but if you've had Hakka Chinese food from other cities in the world (e.g. some of the better places from Toronto especially), Sagar is a very okay place with a lot of hype around it.This place is not reminiscent of the Chinese food you can get in Bangladesh in the slightest, but it's worth trying once if you're in town.
Great food and most things are very reasonably priced for the portions and quality. The chicken lollipop used to be a go-to item with every visit but ever since they raised the prices from $9 to around $13 or $14 for just 6 small pieces it becomes not worth it anymore. Apart from that, the Manchurian Chicken Chow Mein, Fried Rice, and General Tso's chicken are all very good. The sizzling chicken definitely looks very eye catchy with steam coming out of it when they serve it, but it's lacking in flavor and is relatively bland in my opinion. The photo I added was not taken at the restaurant but is rather a photo of the Manchurian chicken chow mein that I took home as takeout. Tastes great even after chilling in the fridge and reheating in the microwave.
