We celebrated a graduation party in the downstairs party room and it exceeded our expectations. The food was fresh, delicious, and on time despite having a reservation for 70+ people. The staff were very helpful with both setting up and cleaning up. The space was more than enough to seat so many people and still have a dance/music area. The manager, Fahad, went out of his way, above and beyond, to cater to all of our needs. He is a very responsible, respectful, and caring manager. If you’re planning a party or even just one meal to eat, I recommend Shagor Chinese.
The food was great & service! Expect a few minutes wait if you do go in the weekend. The Soup is unbeatable & the chicken lollipop’s.
I came in to eat with my family we ordered a bunch of stuff1. absolutely nasty service2. SMells really good till u eat raw shrimp in ur soup3.old lollipop chicken from the previous order nobody came to get so they re heat and serve half cooked lollipop chicken4.I told waiter this is raw shrimp in soup his reply “we make it like tht it’s all like this wat u want me to do.”5. I like the spot fire wonton chicken but definitely needs new squad to work because these guys are rude and disgusting un mannered no etiquettes. Speaks a lot for there restaurant.
I ordered food to go from Sagar today and my experience has always been a bit edgy.Picking up the food, things I realized are it was missing utensils, also missing any kind of sauce. for me to consume the food as it was something I got on my lunch break.-The chicken sweet and sour soup was too thick and the chicken tasted very stale.-I’ve gotten their lollipop chicken multiple times and all it is, is chicken fat shaped into a lollipop with tasty batter.-the chicken pakoras/ fritters looked very old and aged for which they shouldn’t and they were absolutely horrificOnly thing I was able to consume is the mixed rice. For a place that used to be 5 stars to me has fallen. Wouldn’t recommend this place what’s so ever. Please refrain.
Ordered almost $100 worth of takeout a week ago and it was a complete waste of money. I've been coming here for a few years and the quality has been going downhill. Ordered several chicken (sizzling, sesame and wings) and fish dishes. Everything was stale! Chicken dishes were hard and cold. The breading so thick, there's almost no meat. Similar with the fish, to the point it didn't taste like fish. Don't get me started on the rice-it's hard and stale. Also, if you order 7 dishes, they give you two small containers of rice. It makes no sense. I've let their poor quality slide over the years because they're local and halal, but this is completely unacceptable. There are many other fresh halal options now for this to be tolerated.
I have been coming to this place for years, but the quality of food have suddenly fell down the hill . Disgusting food no taste at all . Last time i called for pickup i told the guy can you please make sure food is fresh especially the chicken lollypop he said and i quote" i don't make the food i only take order" . Last night i picked up food for almost $82 and food was trash . This was my last time ordering. I will never order again . I feel bad because it was one of my favorite restaurants .
A Good place to eat at with Family & Friends. Food Quality isn’t that Good anymore. Soup was Good ? , Lollipop Chicken and Wonton was OK ? , Sagar Fried Rice was Meh ?, Sizzling Beef & Prawn just sizzled ?. Will go back to Jamaica Location next time.
It was good food!! The only regret is that the beef sizzling was not sizzled due to covid situation!!
The food was 5/5 but the customer service was 2/5…I placed an order (beef sagar fried rice) and they gave me my receipt and told me to wait outside for about 15 minutes and she’ll call me when it’s ready… about 24minutes later, I went to check on my order only to meet a new person at the front desk. My food was at the front desk the whole time and no one called me. And My break time was almost over. poor customer service.However, I said I would never eat from there again, until I ate the food…That’s the best food I’ve ever eaten, and they included hot oil sauce without my asking. So, I’ll definitely eat from there again :)
I ordered two items 3 hours ago.they gave me late also didn’t give the items I ordered.very bad service. I didn’t expected it at all. I called them for the missing order.one crew told me to come and take it.they can’t do anything with it. If I could come in person over there then why I even ordered it by Uber.they should make sure what was the order of the customer and how they r packaging it. I am very disappointed with this. I am not ordering anything from them again.
