Pork chop with peach salsa
A gorgeous dining experience from start to finish. My group had 9:30 reservations and even though they close at 10, they were very kind and attentive. Ordered basically the entire menu, including the special of the evening, Waygu Steak. Incredible craft cocktails and lots of small plate options for sharing. Give this place a try, you won’t be disappointed.
Simply delightful. Inventive cuisine, with worldwide inspirations - we tried most of their weekend lunch menu, and every single dish/cocktail we had was delicious. But don’t miss out on their wood fired polenta breads, uniquely fluffy pizza-naan-pitta bread hybrids, with delicious toppings. Thank you to the amazing staff too for making this lunch so special!
My first time coming to this place. Now I know why it's so pupular!Their food is delicious ? ?, the drinks are great and the customer service is excellent! Definitely, coming back.I love Rolos, very good vibes. I Highly recommend it! ?
Every single dish that we ate was outstanding. In my mind that is probably the highest compliment on food I can give. Most important thing on outstanding food is the uncompromising fidelity to spice, in all of its variations, and its celebration in every dish we had. Wow wow wow!!!Unfortunately there were just two of us so we couldn't taste the entire menu, there is always another time! Our order: from small plates: Calabrian chile butter polenta bread, polenta marries thick asian bread (i call it naan) a marriage made in heaven, there are at least 4 different takes on polenta here; a simple thin sliced cucumber and radish salad with whipped feta and pistachio garnished with dill, sublime and a lucky pairing by us; Tahini chickpeas made for a delightful mid-eastern touch! From the bigger plates we decided to share their 'hot fried garlic chicken, pickled celery, milk bread' sandwich, crispy heat on the outside of the chicken and moist delish inside BUT what gave it the outstanding rating was the milk bread to stand up to the heat; with a yet another uncompromising side dish their 'war' potataoes thingie. Perfect!Dessert was a refreshing, cooling option which if I can remember was a lemony ice cream with thin white meringue wafers and something else.Finished it off with a surprisingly not hot espresso, totally excusable!!
Great service(Thank you, Atticus!) Delicious food and awesome atmosphere!
The neighborhood, the ambience, the staff, the food and finally the cocktails- ALL very good. Such a pleasant dining experience with a restaurant filled with people that like to dine, are cool and diverse.Thank you for a wonderful experience. We had the tahini chickpeas, the crab bread, herbed green salad, fire roasted skirt steak and the charred greens and garlic. Delicious.Next time we are doing the meatballs and pastas! Can’t wait.
I don't usually give five stars out. But this restaurant deserves it. Perhaps 4.5 stars for the food and drink and one-half star for the total enjoyment of the meal. Foccaciahia, meatballs, and two sheet lasagna were wonderful. And where most restaurants fall on their face when it comes to dessert, this one shined. The chocolate mousse tasted just the way it should. Where most restaurants keep these in the freezer, this mousse tasted as if it were just made. This dining establishment is most definitely worth the trip. GO!
I have reviewed this place before and I love it. However, they need to increase the number of sticky buns per day that they make. They’re amazing and a signature item that the food world can easily pick up on and make them even more popular. They’re always sold out. Otherwise, five stars. It’s a great place. Sad to walk here often and have the sticky buns gone though.
Rolo’s was as delicious as it was adorable. The interior of the restaurant is super inviting and has a rustic chic flair. The kitchen is open air so you can see the food being made from certain tables in the dining room. The drinks were well balanced and pretty. I got the mezcal Negroni that was on special, and the spicy pineapple margarita was good too. The food was incredible and it was eaten before I could get photos of most of it.The polenta bread with Calabrian chilies was so good, the lasagna verde got high praise, and the sides of grilled greens and crispy potatoes were delicious. The ice cream for dessert was unreal— all the flavors were amazing & a great way to cap off the meal. The restaurant itself was a little cold, so dress accordingly to make sure you can focus 100% on the meal.
