I wish I could take back the one star. The food can not be eaten. The fish is burned so is the chicken. And the shrimp looks Terrible.
Food was old and small portions. The catfish was old and refried several times. It was only 2 skinny strips not even the size of a catfish nugget The macaroni and cheese was salty and tasted like Kraft box macaroni n cheese. The potato salad was old and sour. I'm assuming the mayonnaise was old because the potato salad was green and smelled old and stale . The salmon taste like 3 days old and they through sauce on it. The cabbage taste like it was from 3 months ago ,The rice taste like it has been sitting around for several days and they microwaved it if I could give 0 stars I would. This food was old and disgusting
First, let’s start with the fact I was greeted when I walked into the establishment. That was a big plus! I have tried their fried shrimp, fried fish, collard greens, sweet potatoes Mac and cheese and chicken wings. Each time, it was delicious and consistent. My new go to place for soul food!
The food here is amazing. I ordered delivery here twice and both times I wasn’t disappointed. The first time I had catfish and grits….those grits chile!!!! This time I had salmon with sweet chili sauce and vegetables. The salmon was literally melting in my mouth. More often than not when I order salmon the middle part is always dry. Not here though like I said every bite melted in my mouth. The vegetables were well seasoned but not salty. This is definitely one of my favorite spots.
I ordered lemon pepper wings with Mac and cheese and collard greens. There weren't any collard greens after waiting almost 1hr 45mins. Also, Mac and cheese is different and does not taste good; The chicken wasn't cooked. NEVER AGAIN WILL I ORDER FROM HERE.
Expensive..14 dollars for 3 pieces of fish with fins on it and some grits with thick shredded cheese that doesn’t melt..yuck go to seamorhen next door
I order delivery from here often and I have not been disappointed yet! The fried catfish is my favorite.
I’m sorry to break this to you all! The food isn’t terrible but it’s not great! Fish, shrimp, macaroni cheese is not good! The cook just started doing this! Disappointed.
REAL REVIEW: Do not let these old reviews fool you this place is so good I ordered through Uber eats and definitely did priority I had the salmon dinner with Mac and collard greens and my daughter had chicken and fries my food was amazing but my daughters fries were soggy and idk what kind of seasoning they are using but the fries just taste weird she said her chicken was good but it was only 3 pieces
