First of all service was delayed for just two dishesSecond the food was not good for the price.Third and worst. At the time of paying the bill, the prices were way higher than shown on the menu.One ordered dish on the menu showed as price $15.00 and on the bill showed $19.95 ?!?!?!?!!!!!!!!!!! And other one on the menu $18.00 and on the bill $21.00When I went to the cashier. She inocentlly showed me an ad advising of " increasing costs" .Number one she never advised us about any increase.Second on the menu there was not any increase or something to tell us. Just the prices were as on any regular menu.I brought to the cashier attention this is nothing short of a ripoff. Plain and simple.SO THE WARNING IS GIVEN ON THIS RESTAURANT. BE AWARE AND CAREFUL IF YOU DECIDE TO EAT THERE.IT IS VERY UNFORTUNATE SOME BUSINESSES LIKE THIS RIKO RESTAURANT HAVE PRACTICES LIKE THE ONES SHOWN ABOVE.Very bad experience and this would be the first and last visit to this restaurant.When

First time there..excellent service..excellent food and they have my favorite Peruvian beer..Cristal..lunch special is more than worth it..please check it out..well worth it
This comment is from a Peruvian and this is why not many Peruvians go to this restaurant, bc their food is disgusting!!! It's an embarrassment to the Peruvian cuisine. They give you a plastic fork and when I ordered for the metal one, the 99 cents store forks or the Barbie doll utensils are way much stronger. Their pasta a la huancaina is sooo dry and plain (seriously, imagine a pasta sitting down for hours. It becomes dry and sticky. Thats what they served) On top of that, when I ordered the food the waitress ironically tells you, "good choice." When I complained and told the waitress to tell the cook the food is "disgusting" she took the plate back, threw it into a basket and did not say anything to anyone in the kitchen. In other words, your complains are not heard. That makes me believe that they make money from distracted first time customers who don't know anything about the Peruvian cuisine. You don't believe me, go there and waste your money.
I found this place walking around roosevelt. It had great food. It had good service, nice ambiance, and good music in the background.
Sad to give this place 1 Star… the guy who took our order was really nice and everyone is friendly but I’m sorry to say that the food was horrible. We asked for lomo saltado… meat was hard and it seemed they cut it when it was still frozen the red onion in it was super overcooked it was totally dead and in general food had no flavor, no condiment. I MUST say maybe they are better in “sea food”? I wouldn’t know. I’m sorry to say this but they should change the cook….. I am not a person who leaves food even if I have to take it home. We left with a feeling of unsatisfying and we didn’t feel like spending another $45 in another restaurant so we end up going to a bakery. In a different situation I would not have tipped but like I said … this has nothing to do with the personnel service but with the food itself! Never had a disgusting lomo saltado. Peruvian food is delicious!!. Will go back if they get a better cook
You ask for a Lomo saltado and this is what you get!!!As a peruvian myself I am embarrassed these people are serving tasteless and poor looking dishes.The meat was dried, THE FRIES WERE THE FROZEN ONES like OMG! who serves that?!NEVER AGAIN RICO RESTAURANT.
If I could give this place 0 stars I would. I ordered delivery service online. After an hour and a half of waiting, I call the restaurant to see the status of my delivery. Only to find out that they put my order to the side and never prepared the meal or sent it out. When I asked about a refund(since I had already paid with my credit card) they rudely asked me to figure it out and that I’m causing them too much stress. I’m highly disappointed in the service and in the way I was spoken to.
