This store smells absolutely delicious and the food is even better. If you want to step your bbq or charcuterie board up three notches, this is where you go.
One stop shopping for all your pork needs and then some. I finally dropped in after walking by the store more than once and left with two ham hocks, 3.5 Lbs pork belly and andouille sausage.

Just moved to the area looking for a new spot for meat products. Went in and asked for a 1.5 inch ribeye. They gave me a strip steak and charged me for it. They handed me the steak wrapped up so I didn't realize till I got home. Taking my business to the Halal butcher on Cypress. Much more respectful of their customers.
During the height of pandemic this was the only place I would visit that wasn’t a grocery store or pharmacy, it’s THAT important to me. A slice of Ridgewood history staffed by people who know quality when they see it and would never steer (heh) you wrong. Always have a great selection of meats, sausages, cheeses, and lots of imported pantry items that come from far and wide. I love coming here always, and feel at home with the smell of smoked meat and a gruff but friendly greeting.
This place is awesome. The staff are very knowledgeable and friendly. They have a huge selection of amazing products as well as seafood on Fridays and Saturdays. The quality here is just the best I can find in NYC. Viva Ridgewood!!!

The Pork Belly is fresh, Italian sausages with and without fresh spices are excellent. Locally produced cheeses are now available. Clean environment.
Hands down the best butcher in town. Just don't forget (like me) that they're closed Sunday and Monday.
