This was the second time we came here.It was pretty empty compared to our first visit. However, service was lacking. We never got our bread, and we never got our drinks... We asked the waiter to follow up, she told us it was coming. And we never had it.Aside from that the food was still great.Towards the end of the meal, we were charged with the drinks and had to dispute it since we never got it.The second visit really ruined it for us.
Been in this neighborhood for years and whenever I crave for seafood pasta, this is the place I go. Went this Mother’s Day lunch hour and ordered their Mother’s Day special rib eye, I’d say the steak was just okay. I also ordered the lobster Mac and cheese for my 3 year old, the lobster taste like frozen ones but the seafood pasta in white wine sauce is beyond great. I will still be back whenever I crave for seafood.
We visited the Reef this evening to celebrate my friend's birthday.We came in when the restaurant was almost empty and every table was occupied while we were there.The staff was very busy and the food excellent.The waiting was worth the time.We couldn't help but notice the server, Alfonso.He was very efficient, courteous, kind and polite.He worked with such ease taking orders. He made our dinner such a pleasant experience!Cheers to Alphonso and The Reef!
We were looking for a place on Austin for a small gathering. We called this other restaurant on Austin and they wanted us to pay a fee per hour then 60-70pp for food. It didn't make sense at all since the time we wanted was 3pm on a Thursday. You figure they would welcome the business. One call to reef was all it took. They gave us the entire lower level for as long as we wanted. Had a private meeting with my real estate team, about 20 of us then we invited some of our other coworkers in afterward and had about 60+ there. Brian the manager was great and Natalia our server was amazing. She must have ran up and down the stairs 200 times that night. Might consider doing a family event here next year.
Just had dinner there with two of my friends in the food was amazing. The seafood was so fresh and everything was seasoned perfectly. The chef is incredible and the service was very good. I definitely recommend this restaurant and I get five stars to the chef
For anyone looking for a restaurant with great ambiance and great food as well. This is for you. Treated my wife for a lunch on our anniversary here and we were very satisfied not only with the food but also for the excellent service and friendly staff.
I don’t eat seafood … but there’s still plenty to be had at Reef! They accommodated our large party easily, and the food was outstanding!!
Amazing brunch spot for only $25, which includes two drinks. I was shocked! The service, food and drinks were fantastic. I will definitely return.
Great food, warm atmosphere and very friendly service
Service 10 out of 10 but not very satisfied with their food, oysters huge I would prefer small or medium sized oysters. salad on the plate with scallops was over salted it was impossible to eat they replaced my salad but seemed like they just rinsed it with the water to wash out the salt and souse. I’ve got back cold and wet kale instead of warm stewed garlic kale..Price higher than usually at the similar places. I wouldn’t recommend this place.
