I like their sushi, I just want to say that they need to be more respectful, and they should change their personal, they don’t provide a good customer service.
they add so much rice to the sushi. It’s uncomfortable to eat. And then they charge you extra if you don’t eat all of the rice. They do this so you can fill up faster on the carbs. The other items on the menu is great except the sushi rolls. The amount of rice they use is crazy. I felt so uncomfortable after I left as if tho I ate a whole bowl of rice. Ruins the whole experience.
Update:Since the pandemic, they have increased the prices to a ridiculous amount to $28 to $33 if you want sashimi & plus your drinks are no longer included; it's extra so you're looking at about $35-40 w/tip per person. Not worth it if you can't eat about 4-5 orders. FYI come famished!
Price to performance this place is one of the best that I continuously go back to. The sushi has too much rice but at the price, compared to the rest, it's not too bad.The appetizers are always amazing here and my friends and I love coming here to continuously get appetizers. As I said before, the sushi has too much rice but can be a little overlooked because of the price.Definitely come here more for the rolls and the appetizers than just sushi a la carte.
Food is great, servers are good, my drink stay stays empty sometimes unnoticed but they check on you eventually. Also seems like every other day they're raising their price. I remember when all you can eat was 24.99
Low quality Food, I couldn't finish 1 plate because I felt that I might get sick. They wanted to over charge me, although only paying for what I ate would cost less than half the fee of the all you can eat admission. They treated me in a bad way and had the guts to ask for tip after talking to us in a disrespectful way
Excellent food, fast service! Worth the price!
I have frequented this restaurant several times over the years since they've opened. It's an ok spot if you're looking for all you can eat sushi. Obviously don't order more than you can consume or you'll get charged extra. Never had an experience when I've gotten charged extra. Even when leaving 3-4 pieces of sushi behind I couldn't finish I never was charged extra.I'm assuming those who complained about extra charges on the bill probably left an unreasonable amount of food behind justifying the charge. Any way. Never had a problem with staff. Always the right amount of attention. Only had one experience where I ordered chicken tempura and they gave me shrimp, but they changed it no problem. Went not to long ago after several months and was pretty bummed to find out they raised the price of the all you can eat sushi. $27.99 plus the tax and tip is nearly a $40 dollar meal just for one person and that's way too much imo.I understand that costs of things raise due to changes in the economy, but the price is what drove me to go back. Now I can't see myself going back as often due to this. A plate at a decent restaurant in Manhattan is $17-$22 a person. There's but only such you can eat to justify the new cost. Unless you have a deep stomach to get your money's worth. Anyway it's a nice place to try at least once.
I loved the food, everything was fresh ?and the service was excellent.thanks
All of these AYCE sushi places are around the same in quality. The main differences would be variety and price. I'm glad to say that Rakuzen has the best service I've received at a ayce place. The variety of sushi and appetizers are great too and would leave you satisfied with the amount of options given. The price is pretty fare too, at $26 per head.
