Go try this bakery out!! The chick pea potato patty is amazing!!! I’ve also had the red velvet cake, coconut cake and the red velvet cheesecake cup.. everything was delicious.
The banana pudding cake tastes amazing and delicious! The layers of cake adds a bit of UMPH! Def. my favorite! Really nice, friendly staff! I’m so glad I live close by as it is a quick pick me up for some yummy sweets!
DELICIOUS!!!! These ladies have nailed it. All the patties are delicious, but the CAKES...ooooohhhhh my. I love the homemade taste. Such rich deliciousness. Every bite makes you desire another and once it's finished you want another slice. Great atmosphere and hospitality as well. All the best QUEENZ?
Someone below said the hot honey salmon patties makes you wanna slap somebody. They are correct! It’s so goodt! I also enjoy the curry crab as well as the Henny colada cupcakes! Love this gem and the staff are all super nice and welcoming!
I stopped by this afternoon for a quick coffee and snack. I ordered an oxtail patty and a white chocolate iced mocha. My friend ordered the hot white chocolate mocha, a jerk chicken and a curry chicken patty. We were both super satisfied with our orders! I must say that from everything we tried, we both were most impressed with the flavor of the curry chicken patty!! Will definitely order that one again. Coffee was good as well but I wish it was a bit stronger, for my taste.
My family and I have intentionally supported local black businesses, especially as Rosedale & Springfield Gardens residents for over 50 years. So, of course, when planning a baby shower for a family member, we decided to contact Queenz Bakery Cafe since the mother-to-be LOVES their coconut cake. We spoke to the owner on Saturday, 2/19, who confirmed we could pick up our order (cupcakes, cheesecake, banana pudding, and oxtail patties) at 10am on Sunday, 2/20. I also checked the website to confirm that the bakery opens at 10am since we had other stops to make before the shower.We arrived later than expected (10:20am), and the shutters were down to our dismay. We called the bakery, hoping that someone was inside, but no one answered. We sat and waited, and finally, at 10:36am, someone arrived to lift the shutters. Once I was inside, the order was not ready, and we needed to wait another 20 MINUTES (until 10:56am) for the oxtail patties. The hours on Google indicate that the bakery opens at 10am (see photo attached), AND a pickup time of 10am was communicated to the person who placed the order, so why wasn’t the order ready? They should have been honest and realistic if the order would not be ready until 11am. Also, the Google hours should be updated so that patrons know exactly when your business is open and closed. When a business inconveniences a customer, they should offer something as an apology—whether discounting the order or providing additional patties/cupcakes. Instead, the baker offered ONE CUP OF COFFEE, which was insufficient for an order that should have been ready at 10am but was not ready until 10:56am. Lastly, while the desserts were delicious, the oxtail patties had bones in them, which in my opinion, was dangerous considering folks of all ages were partaking in the patties.Every business cannot accommodate catering orders (especially when starting out) and should acknowledge their bandwidth to meet customer needs and expectations. I hope Queenz Bakery Cafe recognizes this and makes the necessary adjustments as soon as possible so that another family will not have the same experience as us.
Love the Queens who run Queenz Bakery Cafe. I loved everything I saw, so I bought a whole bunch LOL. Everything I bought was delicious. I can't wait to go back and it seems like their connected room next door is going to be a nice spot also.
This lovely bakery is a hidden gem in the heart of Queens. The owner and staff are very friendly. Previously, I ordered a slice of vanilla red velvet cake along with pina colada cupcakes. They were a hit with my children and l. My son insisted that l order the vanilla red velvet cake for his 16th birthday. He wasn't picky about the design so l kept it basic. He was enarmored with the flavor of the cake. Our guests were as well. I highly recommend the Queenz Bakery Cafe. I'll definitely order again.
These patties are huge!! Lunchtime is done!! My favorite is the Curry Crab and Shrimp.
