Park at the very first spot you see. The walk to the market is less than 10 minutes. If you drive in further, you would most likely stuck for a long time without a spot. The weather is nice as well as the vibe. The crowd is mix but mostly young kids. Don’t make my mistake. I got tired of waiting on line and just order one big item from one place. You should definitely order one small item and jump to another line. There are so much option and standing in line is the activity. If you like to bring a picnic blanket, it’s a good choice to sit on the grass and chill. There are bathrooms and hand wash area. Water is $1.50 so I suggest you bring your own with a small cooler. Most small dish range from $4 to $6 and it’s for mostly tasting. I don’t think you will get full on anything less than 3 lines worth of food.Have fun.
This is a perfect place to try foods from all over the world. The prices are great from $5-$7 for food. They have a live band and you can picnic on the grass area or seat at the picnic table. I suggest coming before 7 to avoid long lines. I enjoyed the Indian Bbq tandoori wings from Sholay but it was spicy. The bake and shark was only $6 with all the toppings. I even got an lamb skewer for $3. This is also a family friendly event so you can bring the kids . They don't check your bags and their is no admission. However parking on site is $15 but along the side streets leading to the highway is free and at your on risk.
Coming here was such a great experience. I moved to the DC area from Queens 6 years ago and always brag to my DMV friends about the great food back home and how diverse it is. Also, how seemingly inexpensive it is in contrast to DC. I came up with a friend and took her here. She got to experience real NY, outside of Manhattan, and culture. We tried at least 6 different types of cuisine and each had wine. I spent a total of $60 and we had a blast. The food was great, there were all types of vendors, and even a DJ. Would definitely go back.
The Queens night market is a wonderful experience for those wanting to sample a diverse offering of food culture. The cost are reasonable at $5/$6 per item (food or beverage) at the booths and the servings enough for 1 or 2 people to enjoy. The concept of the event is for patrons to relax and immerse themselves in the many offerings and come away sampling small plates of multiple cuisines from all over the world. Caribbean, Latin, Asian and Persian dishes and more, blended with live entertainment and green areas of the venue where some patrons spread a blanket and enjoy food, music and warm weather. One of the vendors, Treat Yourself jerk chicken was a must for me, but there are many options that give you a taste of somewhere you may want to visit without leaving NYC.
Super awesome night market that’s only open on Saturdays. There are sooo many different food stands: Mexican, Indian, Japanese, Filipino, Ukrainian, Burmese, etc. just to name a few. At this point, we ask which country ISNT present. And each place is straight gas. There’s also live music and some drink stands. While it is crowded, it’s totally worth it to wait in line for this food, especially if you want to try a lot of different cuisines. Food is the main attraction but there are other shops. The majority of stands are vegetarian friendly as well, and some are cash-only/cash-preferred.Highly recommend this place for hanging out with friends, a date night, or even coming alone.
These food fest is incredible! Good price and a lot of different food! I enjoyed too much!
If everything is to follow on what today’s preview showed it might honestly be as great as it was before the pandemic. It was a little bit less packed due to the need to purchase tickets, but the new stands that have popped up this year are definitely worth visiting. My favorite hands down is the new afghani stand with their dumplings. I would definitely recommend giving it a try if you hadn’t already. The classic huarache and beef sticks can’t go wrong for some bites.
An essential spot to visit when you're visiting New York. Queen's does it hard. It's highly recommended that you take the train here as parking is limited. There's a great variety of shops to choose from, although it seems the majority of which was Mediterranean, Middle Eastern, and Asian. So we're talking Afghani dumplings, Taiwanese beef noodle soup, Persian chicken and rice, Japanese dango, etc. There's a lot of green to sit on and it's a pretty easy place to meet up as the surrounding has some noticeable standout decorations. I'd love to come back to see if maybe there's something like Ethiopian or Ghanaian food.

Wonderful market with many different food and art vendors, in addition to live music. The food vendors were fantastic! Family friendly and free admission.
