Fuck with the vision: horchata is delicious, $5-for-2 al pastor “mini-“tacos a bit dry but tasty and totally normal sized tacos. Holds like two people standing
Delicious pupusas and great assortment options! I had both the chorizo and revueltas, they were both delicious!
Ordered pupusas de revuelta & de queso with 2 small horchatas. Very expensive for just pupusas and horchata which wasn't completely full. The pupusas de queso was not bad, had better, but the revueltas were bad. All I can taste was pure cumin. Never had a pupusas taste like straight up cumin. There was so much oil everywhere even on the outside of the pan and cover had oil. This place is really cute and small going inside to pay, but for the price, the food was not worth it. The horchata was not authentic horchata, tasted more like a milkshake full of vanilla and cinnamon. No bueno. I love pupusas and horchata and I've tried authentic pupusas in el Salvador, but these were not authentic.
Always delicious!!! My favorites are the zucchini pupusa and spinach pupusa and my boyfriend loves the chicken pupusa and the bean and cheese pupusa. The tamarind agua fresco is so refreshing and not overly sweet!!
Absolutely fell in love with this spot just now, had the chicken with tomate and was a good deal ! Exited to come back again
The food was kinda bland. The chicken had no flavor. The beans and the pulled pork had some flavor. The sauce that came with it didn't had any flavor as well. The side salad was the only thing that had alot of flavor.
I love coming here, their pupusas are delicious. I normally order their pork with cheese and beans. As well as the one with just cheese and beans, I also tried the one with spinach. You can't go wrong with trying anyone. Their juices are also amazing, it's natural and has pulp so keep that in mind if you don't like pulp.
Terrible. I knew I shouldn't have gotten pupusas from there. Masa under cooked, muskie and oily. Slaw had to much coriander(it not suppose to have coriander in the first place but thats just a personal bias) and tomatoe sauce was watered down. Not athletic at all. Also it is over priced but I wouldn't have been mad about the price if the product was good.
Awesome service!!!! The BEST PUPUSAS in Ridgewood.Anyone complaining about taxes? Or any small thing? Y'all wasting ur time. #1 it's NYC everything is expensive. The pupusas are 3 bucks. Great size. 1 fills u up.#2 If they mixed up the order ? It happens we all humans. ALL the pupusas are exquisite. My favorite is zucchini& cheese.Wonderful place, tiny but I'll be treated woth love and respect!#3 so what if the ladies are Mexican? As long as they cook with love that's all that matters!
I’ve been wanting to check this place out for a while and finally popped in for lunch today. Yum. They’re tiny and don’t have a big menu, but it seems everything is tasty. We tried the cheese and bean pupusas (classic, delish), as well as the spinach with cheese and the squash blossom with cheese. They’re big (maybe 6” diameter?) and come out piping hot, so you can burn your fingers on them if you’re impatient, but they’re achingly good. The tomato salsa is a lovely and mildly spicy accompaniment.
