Great pupusas (corn tortillas stuffed with cheese, etc )! The interior has been renovated. Mom and pop restaurant, authentic and good! Definitely a good find and worth trying the Central American cuisine ?
Ordered two Pupusas to go. They were ?. The restaurant is cozy and has a nice decor. However, it took longer than it had to for 2 Pupusas and worse than that was the attitude of the waitress. She showed no hospitality at all. I understand that I was waiting for a takeout order, but I was still a paying customer. I will revisit this review if and when I go back. Perhaps I'll eat there the next time.
Pupusas were not fresh. They were old pupusas and were hard like a rock. Very disappointed of this restaurant. The worst pupusas I ever had. I will never in my life order from here. Don’t go here.
I got two pupusas: Bean and Cheese Papusa, and four Chicken tamales. The food is delicious !!! They were fantastic! The employee that took my order was quite pleasant and helpful in answering a few queries I had.
HORRIBLE SERVICE!!!! Bad negligible staff!!!!\\nI went here yesterday, and the lady served me a drink. I never thought it would happen to me. She opened my glass drink and as I drank it there was piece of glass in my mouth. I was shocked, I felt glass and it cut my tongue. The workers and the managers said it were not taking responsibility for this incident and repeatedly said it was an accident.The manager was rude and kept asking me for proof as if the paper full of blood wasn't enough! I completely understand that it can or was accident but if I swallowed the bigger glass piece it would be their fault. THEY Should take a blame for this it’s a horrible experience!!! They didn't care and wanted me to pay my food and just didn't care about what happened to me and did not help me mediate the situation. I started to fell a small piece of glass scratching at my throat and asked for a banana and bread so that I can get rid of that shard. They said NO i don’t have anything NO and they just wanted me to leave and pay. They were not caring for me and I still payed!!! If something happens to me I will be suing. The least they could have done is tell me I don't have to pay for their damage.
I was there today and the service was extremely excellent the food. Everything was so delicious.!!!!!!!! Everything so nice and clean. Great job. I was feeling like I was at home Thank you Martita un amor. Sincerely miss SALMA
I loved the pupusas, they were very tasty and I plan to be back to try other dishes.
I ordered online and was called when it was ready. Everything was hot and well packaged (with certain items bagged separately for spillage) everything was soo tasty!! I got the cheese and revuelta pupusas and they were really well stuffed. They also came with cabbage and a red sauce that just kicked everything up a notch. I also got the alto de elote but it wasn’t as great, it was more of a cream than a drink. But I’ll definitely be coming back for everything else!
I recommend the seafood soup it is the best in all of New York good service good food visit pupusería Izalco it is the best restaurant
