This place is not good anymoreOver priceFor 2 ppl rice beans, chicken$60Plus if you order to go they charge you for extra sauce.???I ain’t going back there anymore I’ve been going there for yearsMaca next door is a lot better
If I could give it a 0, I would! I bought the meador combo yesterday spent $60 and I couldn’t eat the food. The chicken was dry and super salty, the rice and beans had no flavor. Employees are nice but I’m sorry I wish I can get my money back I had to buy papa John’s after buying food from here. So disappointed the food used to be great for years, you just lost a long time customer.
amazing peruvian food! great service great price, pollo a la brasa the best!!
This place got so much worse during the last year. The chicken is beyond salty and quality isn't there anymore. They won't even give you an extra sauce without charging you extra. Plus it got way overpriced. I won't be going back here anymore.
The food is good. The resturant seems like more of a takeout place and not a sit down resturant like the other locations.
The attitude and the saltiness of the food blow my mind. If you still want original taste go to their store in Corona. They are still good.
This place used to have great food but since few months ago food has be coming down in taste and cooking I'm not spending a penny in this place anymore, last time I spend over $80 and food was disgusting chicken were raw, rice, yuca were burn I went back to complain they didn't want to give me back anything and got mad at me cause people were eating, they are disgusting horrible place and always like to give raw chicken when the food is to take out cause people don't have time to look the entire food before leaving the restaurant. Worst place.
The rice and beans was burnt. The chicken leg cost $10Totally ripped off.The food cost a major stomach problemThey had to have known the rice was burnt. It smelled so.
Pío Pio is back. Last few visits have been great. Fresh delicious chicken straight out of the roaster. They do roasted chicken right!
The first Pio Pio in Queens... a small and cozy restaurant with amazing food and prices. Don't let the modest exterior fool you, they are well known for some of the best Peruvian food in New York City for as long as I can remember. Consistently delicious, flavorful and succulent food with a simple menu. Their signature Peruvian-style roast chicken is my favorite and pairs perfectly with their famous Aji verde green sauce.I've tried all their dishes of ceviches, french fries, maduros, tostones plantains, yucca, salads and they're all really great. The seating here is small at Woodhaven, so they offer pick-up options at all locations (9) around the city. The service and staff is very attentive, friendly and fast. Excellent and satisfying meals every time at a great value. Highly recommend.
