I had late lunch at this restaurant with my kids. Ordered hot tea with pho noodle soup and pork barbecue. Hot tea tasted like dish soap and I let server know but both female servers looking at me like I am making up. Finally was not feeling well so went to restroom and vomitted. I let manager know who was standing by cashier which is by the restroom and he did not even say anything. Suddenly hesaid cash only today because machine broke which I never got informed qhen.order.. You should bring your own water or tea with uyou in case you want to go since restaurant staff dont care about what they are selling.
I’ve been coming to this restaurant with my family for the last 15 years or so. We would shop at HMART next door and then come to Mekong to enjoy the Pho, Spring Rolls, Marinated Grilled Chicken, and Yang Chow Fried Rice. The staff is always so great and the prices are always on point. Just a great time every time!
This is one of my go to Vietnamese spots in Flushing. It's been take out for the last 2 years. I use to dine in before Covid. They have been super polite on the phone and when I get their to pick up the food. All in all the food is pretty consistent taste and quantity wise for the years and the price is fair.
Pho is ok but I have been going here forever for their beef cubes over rice. Ask for fried rice if you want something extra.
I had high hopes for this place but ended up being disappointed. Most food we ordered came out either underseasoned or overseasoned which was really unfortunate.Service was great and the restaurant was otherwise clean.
Almost the worst pho I've ever had.
Very good food. Check it out for yourself
Ordered a large pho and chicken curry. It was good but overall a bit salty. Service was great! Our water was constantly filled~
We enjoy their Pho because the soup stock is tastier than other places we frequent. Other dishes are as good and their portions are plentiful and reasonably priced. Mekong is ADA accessible and it is open for indoor dinning. Their staff is quick on taking and bringing orders. They also do take out / pick up. Their usual closing time is 9 pm on weekdays. 9:30 pm Fridays and Saturdays. Mekong is near Korean supermarket and restaurants.
