Look I get this place is known for their chicken and you probably aren't going to think to order the calamari but PLEASE DO! It's hands down the best calamari I've had in at least a decade, perfectly tender and just cooked so spot on, with the perfect amount of batter..... I could go on. Just try them, you won't regret it.
I am beyond grossed out. I don't know how these people have such good reviews. I ordered ramen through GrubHub and the entirety of it is covered in ants. And I hate half of it and didn't even notice until I gave the rest to my brother who saw it and told me. I want to throw up now. Who knows how many I ate?!? Worst place ever
A must to check out when in Sunnyside. It’s a great place to grab late night drinks and food! The only reason i didn’t give it 5 stars is, it’s best experience in person. Delivery usually takes a while, making the food not so great.
This is my favorite spot in Sunnyside. Friendly staff with delicious fried chickens and many more. Highly recommend!
If you like fried chicken you must try this one, it is better than KFC and Kennedy Fried Chicken.The hot sauce it is really good.
I came here on a trip to NYC from Chicago, when I was staying at my friend's place in Queens, and I accidentally ordered the wrong thing (wings instead of boneless). It was so so good I went again the next day to the location in Midtown by the Empire State Building. The food is so so SO good. I tried another place in Astoria and it just made Pelicana look even better. Can't wait to go next time I'm in New York.
Chicken wings got better over the years. Their “spicy” chicken sandwich was not even breaded in spicy powder. All they did was add jalapeño on the side. about 2/5 on the chicken sandwich. This is my go to IF Mad for chicken is not available. not so good but also not bad. Decent. drinks here are good tho.
I always come here with my boyfriend and friends! Amazing food, amazing service and a beautiful afternoon! Food is always fresh and delicious! This place is very welcoming all the time. The staff always remembers there local customers and I find that very rate at a restaurant business. This place is spectacular and you would be missing out if you don’t come here. Best to gather with friends and even to go on a date! ;))
My go to fried chicken place. Each order to made to order, so be prepared to wait because it's definitely worth it.Was introduced by a friend who claimed that their delivered fried chicken is still hot and crispy. To my disbelief, despite a 20 minute delivery time, this is in fact a fact.Personally, I still much prefer to consume fried chicken from kitchen within 10 minutes.Either way, you cannot go wrong as it'll be the best delivered fried chicken and also best in-person dining fried chicken.Edit: Forgot to mention that while they do accept credit card, last time I went, they did not accept credit card tips. So please do not forget to bring cash for tip if you decide to dine indoors!
Food is great, pretty good prices, service was a bit abysmal. The music was playing very loud and next to impossible to get any server's attention. For pretty much anything, needed to go to the register. Not even on a crowded day, just 3 tables and service was that bad... could have been just the one server guy and the loud music to blame. Overall, food is really good, seating is placed far enough away from other tables to not feel crowded, 2 individual bathrooms, service is maybe okay depending on the server, and music is loud for me.
