The soup was delicious and kid friendly, and the service was great! will come often!
Worst!!!! Soup taste like water!!! Wait for a table more than 20mins coz only one corner table left we do not want to sit there, we do not mind to wait for other table available. Someone came agreed sit on that corner table, after one table become available they move to that table right the way, so we went to ask the worker how come let them move there and we even came before them and wait for that table, she came to us and said coz they called reserve the table!!! What a liar!!!!!!
First of all, they only do one item here in two variations, spicy or non-spicy. Fantastic food for the winter, gets super busy, super quickly so it's best to come at opening (10am). The space is small, probably sitting only 12-15 people, typical hole-in-the-wall restaurant. Pricing is very cheap for what you're getting, especially since Korean food is pricey by default, currently $14.99. You get a handful of /side dishes that you can get replenished at no extra cost (usually the norm for most Korean restaurants). Service was quick and friendly. On to the food.....Go with the spicy version, it's very mild and adds another level of flavour (yes you white folk ;)). The beef flavour permeates throughout the soup BUT I think a fattier section of the cow would be a better pick, the flavours of marrow from the bones didn't really stick out in the broth base. This would have really added depth to the flavour profile, more fatty oils and marrow please. More glass noodles too ^^. The beef wasn't melt-in-your-mouth slowcooked but wasn't stringy either. Seasoning was good and didn't leave you desperate for water, I really like that the fats and other floating particulates were skimmed from the top, leaving a clean soup to slurp away.I actually loved the side dishes, be sure to wrap some omelette and rice in the seaweed sheets. Take a bite of the chilli and follow it with your mini seaweed wrap you've just made,......delicious! They have self-serve water and tea station, so that was great too. Would definitely be back and highly recommend as a food venture to others.P.s. there's a place called HanSol next door that sells pre-packages Korean snacks and meals at very reasonable prices so check that out too
It’s good thing they only have one menu however the soup was so blend that I don’t even taste any beef. If you were Korean I’m looking for a good soup this is not a place
Friendliest Service you can find in Flushing, unique way to operate a small eatery with delicious food. The staffs will make sure all the time that you’re fully content with sufficient food on your table. If you need more fried eggs, kimchi or seaweed just tell them and they will gladly give you more???
Given the price of the dish here and the amount you receive, plus how flavorful the soups are made. This place is very good, other Korean places that I had been don't even come close and the bill was twice as much.
We've eaten here numerous times and had dinner here yesterday. Kind staff and the food is consistently delicious and generous with the side dishes. God bless this restaurant. ?
One item on the menu which is the beef stew served with rice, egg omelette, jalapeño peppers, Korean radish kimchi (kkakdugi) and crispy seaweed. All for $14.95. Instant food coma after dining here :)
Our friends and I came to this Korean restaurant to order first. The waiter in it gave priority to the Koreans and Mexicans. I asked the waiter, didn't you see what we came first? She pretended to be indifferent. After that, I still tipped and told them that I felt bad today. I felt that you discriminated against us Chinese.
The best beef bone soup, I’ve ever had. Not only me but my whole family all like it. Each time they only charged for adult, free for my 5 years and 2 years. Which make it a must go place on our list
