Food was good. Brick oven pizza was good. The fried calamari was amazing. We didn't have reservations but they quickly sat us. Our waiter was very sweet and nice. Very attentive.
I was there last night after a graduation ceremony, we arrived late and they were so friendly and kind. The food is amazing, everything is super fresh, tasty, great quality ingredients and nice portions. The prices are very good too. This is a jewel in Astoria, highly recommended to go with family or friends.
Best Italian spot in astoria, right by the park too. I really loved the atmosphere and calming music. It was a relaxing, pleasant time. The service was attentive, and pasta was delicious. I will definitely be returning again.

I hand come to this restaurant several times a month and have. Brought numerous friends as new customers. Ordered a pizza today with arugula and meatball. When the pizza came there was a very very small amount of meatballs. Some slices had no meatballs on he entire slice. We mentioned this to the waiter. He came back and told us the manager said “that is how the pizza comes”. They did not even remove the $5 charge for meatballs from the bill. Unfortunately we will not be back due to poor customer service. We patronize this restaurant a lot - have drinks and dessert along With dinner. Very disappointed
Being my first time dining at Palermo I was expecting an exceptional evening. Mine was the complete opposite. The waiter accidentally spilled my Diet Coke all over me and I do me the entire full glass all over my shirt, my leather slacks and my entire left boot. After I stood up as the soda was rolling off me and using the 2 napkins I then exited to the rest room to get the sticky feeling grim leather slacks and wipe down the rest of me. I return to the table to find all they did was add 3 cloth napkins on top of a very wet table. Needless to say I had a puddle on the floor during the rest of my dinner with my elbows which were wet anyway and Change my chair myself which was still sticky!! Not one apology not one comp for a dessert or anything. My rating is a 2 definitely not a 5 star restaurant.. rude waiter and a staff that needs to learn the correct way to handle a mistake they made ……………

I order pizza from here any time I can...I must be like, one of their loyalty customers. Anyway, the food here is great! If you want a real Italian cuisine, this is the place to be... due to Covid restrictions, a vaccination card is needed to sit and eat at this restaurant, their food; non apetito!
One of the best in Astoria—we ordered pizza delivery, one half ricotta-pepperoni, and one half plain ‘margherita’ and it was delicious! Bottom of the slices and crusts were crispy and soft as they should be, and the added ricotta was a nice flavorful-creamy touch! Will be ordering again since it’s one of my favorites in the area.
Great atmosphere and service. Dinner outdoors was very quaint. Food was pretty good. I enjoyed the eggplant appetizer the most.
