My boyfriend and I dropped by Ooi Sushi to pick up dinner to-go. We ordered the sashimi for two and an eel cucumber roll. Overall, the food is good but the prices are a little high. The sashimi was fresh but the roll felt a little soggy. Their happy hour special looked good though so it may be worth it to do by during their happy hour.

It’s not bad don’t get me wrong taste good just the male waiter was being mad weird and giving us attitude and rolling his eyes and sucking his teeth the lady waiter was way nicer and way more calm.

Hidden gem in Long Island city. Was great to come here after a long day of work and to get out of the cold. Inside is spacious and warm. We had tea with our meal. Each dish was great and staff welcoming. Will be back soon to try more of the menu.

ROLLIN? AROUND THIS WINTER with @ooisushiandbar in LONG ISLAND CITY , NYStayed indoors and cuddled up with a quick pick up order . New York always has the best sushi and the best part about this spot is that it's SO WALKABLE and so close to all the apartmentsHere we ordered a :?Sushi set (includes salad or miso soup, and California roll)?extra uni, salmon roe, & tuna belly?Volcano roll (avocado on top?Godzilla roll (fried crispy bits)Everything was so fresh, with great fatty cuts and the perfect amount of rice. Even within the sushi set, they had salmon, tuna, hamachi, white tuna, swordfish and more.See how big the uni was!!Highly recommend this spot , especially if you're staying around the area [email protected]

Came here on a whim because of limited restaurant options in the area and was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food. We had gotten the bento box, which is a great value that included shumai, miso soup, salad, California roll, and your choice of main with rice. The eel avocado and salmon avocado rolls were fresh and delicious. We had also gotten the Godzilla roll, which was good but wouldn’t come back here for that.Get the green tea tempura ice cream…so good! Will come back here again!

We love coming to Ooi! The sushi is fresh and tasty and the other menu items (especially the ramen) are delicious. Everyone who works here is welcoming and kind and we like making this our go-to Sunday dinner spot.

Good sashimi and sushi for an excellent price. The fish melts in your mouth! The wait staff are courteous and prompt and the food was quickly prepared and amazingly presented. I would highly recommend it!

Decent rolls at a decent price. Impressed with their quality of fish. Very fresh. Melts in your mouth. And they add a good amount of it in their rolls too. Because of this I enjoyed my Alaskan roll over the spicy yellowtail.Knocked a star off because of terrible customer service. I was practically invisible & the place was nearly empty.

This is one of our favorite spots in Long Island City. The sushi is great, the service is quick, and the prices are really reasonable. I come here about two or three times a month.I’m a huge fan of the salmon avocado roll and eel avocado roll. I haven’t had the ramen yet, but it looks really good too. I’ll have to try the ramen once it gets colder outside! Also! The dessert menu is really great! I tried my first dessert today and I would definitely come back for me.10/10 - For the reasonable prices, flavors, and fast service, this is such a good spot in Long Island City.

Found this little gem during one of my Saturday lunch strolls. Ordered a Tokyo roll and a Philadelphia roll. Both were great, but the Tokyo roll really stood out!! My Fiance had the salmon and tuna poke bowl. I snuck a couple of bites and it was very yummy, getting that too next time!!! Overall the perfect sushi spot for lunch
