An authentic Cantonese restaurant with good dim-sum menu and great lunch specials. There’s parking lot across the restaurant, but be prepared to tip the valet. There are easy street parking during weekdays, but more difficult in the weekends. They provide picture menus for the Chinese food challenged. For breakfast , I recommend ordering beef/shrimp rolls- they make it fresh, so you have to make a request to the waiter. All the lunch specials are good. I especially love the beef and string beans on rice. The staffs are friendly and attentive. This place is my favorite for Cantonese cravings.
Ordered dim sum to go. If you regularly have dim sum at other places, then you will be disappointed having it here.
Making a order through Doordash, the driver was at our house to deliver our food but was contacted by the restaurant that they left out two meals from our order. So, the driver contacted us to inform us that he had to turn around and drive another 20 min back to the restaurant to get them so he can fulfill his obligation as a delivery driver and apologized. When we contacted the restaurant about how they would be able to compensate us for their mistake. They could have said they'd throw in an extra item and/or assured to reheat our food so that it will be warm and fresh when it arrives. Instead they argued with us about how it's not their problem, and we should have told our driver not to turn back and get the rest of our items we paid for. When we attempted to reason with them, and stress our point they got short with us and hung up. She didn't even let us know that she had to substitute our onion rings for French fries. We found out through the dasher once he came back and delivered our order. We contacted Doordash about the issue, they will be reported, and we were compensated for the substitution but the attitude and asinine remarks were completely unnecessary. She seemed as if she wasn't expecting any kind of contact or concern about the negligence of the situation caused. We had high hopes for this new seafood place, but based on this experience it feels like they don't really care about customer satisfaction and arent knowledgeable of personable skills. Not so hopeful for good quality dinning experiences anymore here. Won't be investing money here any time soon.
I had very hard time ordering the food because I didn’t know which one is good. I was lost and asked for two waiters for help, didn’t got the answer. Also,I find a strong language barrier. Would not suggest if you don’t have friend who is familiar with the food and language. Poor service. Waited long to pay my bill and later on found out myself that you are supposed get up and pay in the front checkin desk. I order those food because those are few items with the pictures. I will say taste was ok, not great.
The service was not the greatest for Dim sum. A cup with chicken fingers was cracked. Brought it to their attention it was like talking to death ear. I order beef fry rice and it was tasteless and very small piece of beef. It was the worse Dim Sim I ever had. I would never go back. If I can give a zero I would. This was my first time and last time.
Very yummy! Golden shrimp Alfredo was to die for!
I had some expectation on the House Special Style dish, because this match the name of the restaurant (Ocean Bay style).Take out order of House Special Style Grouper Fillet. Had to oven-heated for 10-15mins to regain the crunchiness. It was tasty. Just a touch of spicy hot, easily acceptable heat, not for kid though. Also, it remind me fish taco, hence, I added the fish fillet on top of soft taco shell, with a spoonful of yogurt n few green. That works too!!**plenty meter parking, n limited restaurant parking around the corner, expect $3-5 tips.**early friday night to go order takes 15mins
Salt and oily Cantonese food like what you expect. Servers were fairly friendly in a COVID slow day. First time in year 0 wait time on a weekend dimsum dinning
Dim SUM IS GOOD FRESH ON FRIDAY AFTERNOON.i like pan fried noodles , the vegetable soup a bit cold more like warm.ovweral it good to eat her.
Food was good. Keep count of the dishes you order because they take away the empty plates to try make you loose count of what you ordered. It was only my wife and I and we could definitely remember what we ordered. After recounting what we ordered mulriple times we both agreed that there was an additional dish on our bill.
