I live in the neighborhood where O Neil’s is located. Have been going there for years until lately. Their food is terrible now and completely overpriced. There was a time when we enjoyed eating there as a family but I really don’t know what happened. I thought it might be a once off thing but on returning we decided never to go back. Unfortunately it’s very sad as it so convenient to get there, they really need to upgrade if they want to keep their customers.

Nice place. I was excited to try this place out since moving into the neighborhood, but the waitress was so unfriendly. She didn’t bother much with us and seemed to have an attitude whenever we asked her for a drink or something. We were across from a family celebrating their child’s birthday today. Anyway, she didn’t offer or recommended anything off the menu. Took her like 20min after we got our drinks to asked us if we were ready to order. After taking our order She never came back to see if everything was alright or if we wanted more water or anything. Nop! My wife had to stop her to ask for more water and she would make a face whenever my wife asked her for something. We didn’t even bother finishing our food. We had to even stop her to get the check. We were going to get dessert, but why bother since we were sitting there for good time while she walked by several times.
Have been going for years . Great bartenders . Good food . Con is parking cam be tough but there is a valet option ! Dry aged steaks and keno .
This was a place I loved when I lived in Maspeth 22 years ago. Food is still GREAT!!!
Good solid Irish bar n eatery, open area bar.. good wings, large menu for any taste.. large tap beer choices..
It was terrible customer service ? because Uszuala my server treated me and wife like second class citizens.But the food was excellent of course my mom lives around the corner I always go there.Being a Ranger fan. I'm retired NYPD BUT IT'S OK one bad apple doesn't ruin the bunch. I'll still go there. Thank you
Run of the mill pub grub with grossly overpriced drinks. The linguini was a sloppy mess and totally doused in sauce and the service just wasn't there. I guess that's because they already add in a 20% gratuity and there's no incentive to come around. Expensive for what it is.
I've never felt profiled before in a restaurant until I came here. The front desk lady was very nice, but once I got to the bar I sat there for 20 minutes without any bartender asking me for a drink. Now I'm usually the type that has patience when I see a bar is full and the bartenders are bust, but I felt some sort of way once I literally heard another guy at the bar tell the bartender that, "that's guy has been here for 10 minutes waiting" and she still didn't even acknowledge me. So I just left. I've never been treated like this at any bar before and I will for sure never go back there.
Service is always good and I enjoy their wings on Wing Night (Mondays)Their burgers and waffle fries are pretty good too!
