This is a hidden gem place in Queens. It is hard to find a good Japanese restaurant that is not carrying sushi or roll in Queens and it is as good as those popular places in Manhattan. The food is always clean and warm, and tasty without being too salty or sweet. During the pandemic we did take out and it was warm enough, but it is definitely good to dine-in. Hope that this place will be around for a long time.
I've tried this place two times so far and both times have been excellent. We've gotten the Spicy Tuna Don, Chicken Teriyaki Donburi, and the Gyu Don. The serving size is enough to fill you up and the ingredients used tastes very fresh. It's easily become my go-to spot for Japanese cuisine in that area. Highly recommend!
It was good. The inside is very clean and staff are friendly. But little bit sad because I feel like a bitover price. And I noticed the owner is not japanese. :(
Cute spot for ramen! and the staff is very nice.Broths are rich and nice, noodles were good and bouncy. Interesting tea infused noodle option.chicken was ok good flavor on the initial bites but turns dry quick, could be better.Dessert was mostly matcha so we didn’t get.
Food was great, service was awesome. Hot tea was perfect. The Spicy Miso Ramen was the best I've had.
Delicious food! Had the tuo nyu ramen and the spicy tuna over rice. Highly recommend.
Curry Katchu and Tochucha Udon were delicious. Brown Sugar Matcha latte was good but wish the matcha flavor was a little stronger. I was disappointed in the Salmon Onigiri. The rice didn’t have much flavor and only a small tiny piece of salmon. Highly recommend the Kagua beer if you’re into light refreshing beers. Staff were really friendly and food came out really fast.
My first visit won't be my last. Beautiful and welcoming interior that offers perfectly crafted matcha tea by the warm and friendly Angel (it's his name not an adjective ?). Of the appetizers we tried, the takoyaki was my favorite. The shishito peppers needed a little more time on the grill and the pork buns were decent. The shoyu ramen was delish; light and flavorful. The reason behind my 5 stars and the highlight of the visit was the spicy miso ramen. The spice was up there but not overly powerful and the taste was completely unexpected for a tea/ramen shop on Bell Boulevard. I had gone through a stretch of subpar ramen bowls in the past couple of years and the taste of this spicy miso ramen reignited my love for this dish. While the noodles could be a touch better, the flavor was undeniably top notch.
I love this place. The atmosphere, prices, and food is always amazing. Make sure to try the iced matcha tea with brown sugar.
Clean, food was great, service was good. Had the Miso Ramen and Ribeye over rice (medium rare). Street parking. Vaccine cards checked.
