Londoner visiting family in Astoria for a few days and had a few breakfasts at this place. Bagels are massive, coffee is lovely, space is spacious, customers really made feel welcome. Good place for a quick pause from the heat in summer, one block from the Broadway subway Station.
This place used to have better workers. I understand there's a shortage of staff these days. However, NYCBC can afford hiring experienced employees. This is an upscale coffee and bagle place so their workers need to represent this venue properly.
Great bagels fast service good coffee best selection of spreads I’ve see in most bagel shops. And I am a Connoisseur. Pictured is my favorite spread. Cream cheese with Kalamata olives and feta cheese. Add a sliced tomorrow. Heaven!!!
It’s a very nice place to dine in and they have plenty of options. Just make sure they don’t give you a burnt bagels when you asked it toasted ?
I was really thrilled about the gluten free and vegan options, but fairly disappointed in the end. I ordered the gluten free everything bagel with the artichoke spread. The bagel itself seemed fairly solid and tasty, but was tiny. The spread was very mediocre, really didn’t taste the artichoke at all. I ended up not having a reaction from it, but wasn’t entirely convinced they were offering the care to separate gluten free from glutinous. Everyone inside was maskless, even those handling the food, which made me a little uncomfortable.
For my money, the best place to get a bagel breakfast sandwich in this area of Astoria. Not the best bagels or the best breakfast sandwich, but the best combination.
We ordered basic cream cheese on everything bagels. Bagels had crispy garlic sprinkles on them that really made them stand out. The Bagels were big and had plenty of cream cheese on them. Location has a sitting area to eat your bagel, a coffee menu as well as bottled juice and soda available.
Friendly staff. Exceptional bagels made fresh daily. The best bagels in NYC. And generous with the cream cheese spreads. Really good, fresh coffee and orange juice.
