I love this place, nice neighborhood bar and restaurant awesome food and recently enjoyed Sunday brunch of chicken and waffles. The wings are amazing and the hamburgers to die for! Definitely a neighborhood gem that nobody is talking enough about

Finally visited after wanting to come here for a while and was not disappointed. Prices were fair, food was good, and the atmosphere was pleasant (although I DID come at an usual time: Sunday at 9pm).Inside was smaller than I thought it would be, but I liked it. It has a nice "taverny" feel and also a couple TVs for entertainment. There's a bar, but also ample seating area so it can definitely be a family-friendly dine-in option for people in the area.It's not too far from the J train so the location is also convenient to people who don't live in Woodhaven.As for the food, I really liked the wings and fries. I ended up getting two orders. I also tried the fish and chips, but I wasn't a huge fan of the fish because it had too much batter which didn't seem to be thoroughly cooked, but other than that, it was pretty good.Also, something to note is that the drinks were a bit... odd. Ordered a coke and ginger ale for the table, but it didn't taste like Coca-Cola or a popular brand of ginger ale. They tasted like a generic "cola" and "ginger ale". They weren't BAD, but I wish I knew beforehand that Neir's didn't serve Coca-Cola products if that were the case. If they WERE using Coca-Cola products, then their soda machine was not mixed properly cause the drinks were definitelyyyy off.Overall though, it was a good experience and I will definitely return. Our server, Joseph L was also pretty nice and attentive.
It was our very first time for my wife to eat and have some drinks and all a can say is that you must go and try it for your self.. food was on point?? and the drinks, well it depends you taste??
as soon as you walk in the door there are games available for you to borrow and play with your friends. Plenty of space and seating, my friends and I sat at the booth. There’s Neirs merch for you to buy. I highly recommend grabbing a pitcher of the Finnback IPA. Cocktails are great. The food is amazing. Highly recommend the wings. Definitely will come back here, 10/10! Did I even mention Goodfellas was filmed here?
The food and vibe at Neir’s is amazing. Such a local hidden gem in Woodhaven, Queens. The drinks are flavorful and strong. The owner, Danny, makes sure all customers are satisfied. Amazing hospitality and service. Ambiance is very cozy, great hangout spot!
