I ordered food from here on line. Took them 3 hours to respond to my calls about my order. Order was noted as on the way, when I called to ask if y'all can't deliver my food end the order. They marked my order as delivered when it had not been delivered they do business dishonestly. Took 35 phone calls to even speak to somebody about the order. And when I finally got to speak to someone they tried to gaslight me with various excuses as to why the order was marked as delivered when they had already said they couldn't deliver to my address.
Horrible experience Do not order waste of timeI ordered from here twice the first time I waited over two hours for my food this was a Tuesday middle of the day after two hours I finally got through on the phone for them to let me know they did not have the food and won’t be delivering it.2nd chanceI ordered today this time I called before I ordered because I wanted to ask about the red pea soup after 30 minutes of trying to call and not getting through I just placed my order I waited an hour and a half then they call me after my food was supposed to been delivered already to let me know that they will not be delivering the food because I live too far.They have horrible customer service extremely inconsiderate unprofessional and do not care about the community or the people that they serve. If you ever get to talk to them on the phone they sound like zombies they truly do not care. DONT BOTHER WITH THIS Disgrace of a restaurant
Cozy decor with very cushy comfortable seating and rustic bare brick give this place a homey feel. The friendly ladies provide and atmosphere of being with friends. The food is so tasty that we made certain to return before we finished dinner. Do yourself a favor and treat yourself to this place for some authentic Caribbean meals. cooki g
If I can give this place zero stars I would!Michelle the person who normally serves the food is rude as hell!!Customer service is absolutely horrible!She always has an attitude while serving food, they act like your the problem or you owe them something when you come to spend your money with their business.I hope they open up a new Jamaican Resturant in the area to take them out of business!
Was calling for 30 minutes, they never answer the phone. Food takes forever and they are always so rude! Don’t spend your money here smfh. Island Foodie Restaurant is a better alternative
The best soup on the PLANET!!!!! Red Pea soup......Cow foot soup.....can't go wrong with their rich, fragrant soup selection. They add dumplings to the soup that are just the right texture. The fried chicken is so tasty, crispy and juicy! The big three!!! The chicken curry patties are another favorite of mine....always baked fresh. I highly recommend giving them a try. Can't wait to try their jerk chicken. I will update this with some pictures soon.
Walked in and got a lunch special: curry chicken w/peas & gravy, plantain, and cabbage(?). Excellent. Would go again. Highly recommend.
My very first visit was this day. Food was not fresh. The macaroni was dried and cracked. The food did not look appetizing. They don't have take out menus for customers. Very disappointing to see the Food in the shape that it was. Lady behind counter did not advise of what was available or if they offered specials.
The woman at the counter is very rude. Oxtail was dry and I was charged $40. I got an Oxtail medium size, beef patty and a drink. Oxtail was chewy, all fat. Even if she had charged me for the large meal which is $24, the total still won’t amount to $40
The food here is kind of good but the people were awful ! My first time trying their food someone bought it for me and I enjoyed it. I went back to get food for myself and the woman serving the food was extremely rude! Long story short, When I asked a question she slammed the serving spoon inside the tray of food she made for me and just gave me this Dirty stare for about a minute and it was just an awkward silence so I said “you know what, YOU Eat that food” and I walked out.
