I ordered a shrimp Mac n cheese plate & when it came it was most definitely boxed Kraft Mac n cheese & only came with 2 shrimp and when I told the waiter I didn’t like it or didn’t want to anymore… he proceeded to tell me it was freshly made food and from the box and that I ate all the shrimp so they couldn’t take it off the menu and I kept protesting saying I wasn’t paying for something I didn’t want even eat, he decided “we can only give you 40% off” never going to this place again. They are very money hungry and rude and food is mediocre.

Terrible. Me and my family ate here for mother’s day and we waited over 2 hours for our food! And 20 minutes before that we just got our appetizers. We were the biggest table (9 people) and 3 or 2 tables got their food even when we came way before them. I get it’s mother’s day but we were the biggest table, at least serve us first before any other small tables. They forgot one of my family members orders and I found a hair in my food. Not to mention the really loud music. It was good music but it was very loud. It’s a restaurant, I want to hear my family and talk to them. We had to scream to hear eachother.
I used to love this place!!Mela’s lost their touch and don’t care about the food they give to people. They also don’t read the comments section when ordering outI ordered the fried pork chop. It was completely burned/ dry as if it had been fried several times it was soaked in grease. Unfortunately wasn’t edible!!! The food was amazing and the drinks were too, but they don't post or tell you that they charge 18% gratuity it was only 2 of us and they charged an extra 5 dollars for using a debit card. Bring cash and just stick with take out.
Absolutely horrible. $15 for a plate of carne guisada without meat, without carrots, & without potatoes. Basically a plate of rice. Then when I called a lady just ok'd me to death. She was actually silent for a good minute after I gave her my complaint. I live in the area & have eaten there dozens of times. As they try to get fancier, their food, service has gotten worse & worse. Wish I could give negative stars.
Hit or miss honestly. The good is good but the service is lacking and they need to improve their social media presence because none of their menus are online. I would like to see their brunch options.
If your Hispanic then you know how hard it is to find authentic flavorful dishes and please just go to this place for anything… you’ll continue to go back for everything else as well. So delicious and immaculate. Wonderful staff and service ! Happily spending my money here.
Never consistent with their prices. They charge what ever amount they feel like at the time. Also, pay attention to your bill. They add extra 4% as a credit card fee when you pay with cash for take out. If you dine in, they automatically add the gratuity. ( even if it’s only 2 people ). And the men working there are extremely RUDE!!!!!! Will not return
