We called 4days in advance to pickup an order at a certain time… we came 20 mins late because it was weekend ‘’maybe they are busy”… so my wife went inside to pick it up!! Surprise surprise our 3 orders are not cooked yet!! And my wife went out of the restaurant because she said the people that are inside “Cooks” are very rude and nasty… saying “you guys are the one who is late to pickup the food” i am very shocked on what my wife said to me.. so i went inside to wait for the food, just waiting for the cooks inside to say something.. luckily the cashier “lady” is very apologetic on the behavior of the cooks and that the orders are not cooked in advance.. Not gonna order at this location anymore… just go to other location where they have a crew that has respect on the customers who bring business to them…
i liked their mini bar,everyfriday and saturday they have band to entertain people while eating or drinking....
They are crooks they charge you crazy tax prices. When I went with my filipino friend they didn’t do that but when I went by myself they charge a crazy amount of tax. Don’t go here.
not a good place to eat. poor service, i order a fish and the lady came with a noodles plate... and then she said they din't know the menu..so she brings the first thing she thought i will like..??? the food had a flavor like dish washer detergent. at least the water tasted good...place not recommended..
Only thing good thing was the lumpiang Shanghai and the coca cola. Waitress not attentive. Only people at the restaurant took so long to get the food. Then we did not get what we ordered. The woman says we ordered D1 she says she does not know the numbers and th noodles tasted like soap.
This place is now called Kabayan. We order lechon here all the time and we always get the home made lechon sarsa sauce. Whenever I ordered the lechon, I would ask for the home made sarsa and order extra. They will always say yes we will give it to you. But the last 2 times we ordered lechon here, they just gave us a bottle of Mang Tomas sarsa. I would ask where’s the home made sarsa and the lady with the short hair in the dining area would say “oh we don’t make it anymore!” I’m like but when I ordered the lechon, I asked for it and you said yes. I don’t know why she lies a lot. They don’t even make it if you ask them while you’re there. It was just very disappointing.
Kabayan Manny's is one of the best resto we've been to. Very homely and servers and kitchen staff are warm and nice people. Although this is located at Union Turnpike NY (we live around the Queens Blvd area) we lovw going to this place for their food and the people!
Came here for lunch and the food is so good and tasty! Must have the Halo Halo! Friendly service and on Fridays and Saturdays they have live music from 7:00 pm to 11:00 pm. Will be going back soon for a birthday celebration!!
