Have been to their flushing location a few time but the food here is awesome too. Their iconic Korean flavor soy chicken is crispy and juicy, and very fresh. The avocado salad was newly cooked and tastes great. I would also recommend their kimchi fries as it keeps the unique flavor best when dine in. Overall the Mad For Chicken experience at Friday night was awesome.
The food and service was fantastic!The soy garlic/spicy wing combo was flavorful, crispy, and juicy.The japchae had some very tasty noodles and tender beef.The beer flight had a nice variety.We went when it wasn't too busy (early Saturday evening). A great meal for sure!
Mad For Chicken, as the name implies, is the kind of place you want to go back to for the chicken, especially the Signature Chicken Combo. But, more than the chicken and other delish dishes, the service is great. It's a little bit of a wait on a Friday after work. So, be patient. But, trust me; it'll be worth the wait! If you like beers more than any other kind of drink, get the pitcher! I highly recommend Mad For Chicken.
So, friggin, good. I love this place and their chicken. Normally I can't make it in person and have to get delivered, where it is still very delicious. But in person, fresh from the kitchen? OMG. It's a whole new ball game. I ended up eating the entire 10 piece basket of chicken breast, which was definitely not the original plan. Normally half of that is my lunch the next day! It's not easy to keep chicken breast moist when you cook it, but these folks know all the secrets apparently. Good shochu options, nice beer choices, overall great place to go. My wife's go to is the bibimbab, my daughter loves the Mac and cheese bowls.
The restaurant is spacious with a trendy vibe. It could easily accommodate a larger group. They have unique cocktails and a full bar with a few TVs playing sports. The service was good— I like that the waiters weren’t overbearing. We ordered the boneless breasts and they were worth the wait! The batter on them was melt in your mouth good and the chicken was fried perfectly. I suggest trying their frozen lychee drink with Soju. I’ll definitely be back!
I have been to many mad for chicken and chicken is always good. This review is more on their willingness to support and engage in the segregation going on in NYC. Had my papers to show I am allowed to eat but my 13 daughter did not so they would not let us eat there.Some people have to stand up against tyranny and this place is not that. Won’t be going back here or giving my business to them again
The waiter was very attentive and nice. Even though it's holiday, he suggested I order from happy hour menu from which drink and fries are cheaper. The wings and fries are as delicious as always.
I dream about this chicken; a week later and I crave having it again. My only regret about coming here is that I don't live in NY and I didn't eat more of this delicious fried poultry of the gods. If only i had known earlier of its existence. The crispyness of the skin on the wings: perfection. The flavor of the soy garlic sauce glazed all around: exquisite. Also great parmesan truffle fries! Please come to Texas so I can give you more of my money!
Well I order a tteok bokki with cheese and this is what I got. I’ve been eating at this restaurants for the past 5 years at the flushing location and never had a bad experience. I ordered my food from the forest hills and I was in shocked what they send me, I can literally count how many rice cakes where in there, the cheese was just like a little topping. Am still confused don’t know what went wrong. Horrible size serving from this location. I guess I would keep going to my fav one in flushing
It was a very nice inviting feeling, along with the ambient feeling of an indoor cabin. They have amazing selections of food from the healthy to the not so healthy but still finger licking good! The wait can take some time to just get seated but if you reserve before hand you will worry about waiitng. They serve from salads, to chicken wings, Mac and cheese and other delightful options.
