5 stars for the food but service definitely needs improvement. Overall I would go back again but wait staff needs to be more on top of it.
Had a craving for Korean fried chicken so my friend and I decided to give the MFC spot a shot. We went on a Thursday early evening and there were only around 3-5 other tables currently dining. There was no one at the hostess station, so we waited for awhile for someone to even acknowledge us. Eventually I walked towards the back of the restaurant where a bunch of staff were behind the bar and asked for a table. This spot was def well staffed for the number of diners there, so that’s not the issue. Reading their previous reviews, it seems like this wasn’t a one-off situation.Placed our orders for wings right away since those take a bit longer to cook - got half and half, and a avo salad.. bc balance ~ food was as expected. Wings were super crispy and juicy on the inside, and spicy wings were actually pretty spicy (it builds).Decent spot for Korean fried chicken, but don’t expect the best service here.
Had a good meal, and sat in a good spot. The chicken portions are hella big so watch out if you're thinking it's gonna be "Just a few bites" spicy Soy Garlic is the way to go. And a Kimchi Quesadilla + a Bulgogi bowl was enough to share between two people, so I would say, try to portion yourself right if you're not in a crazy hungry mood. If you're with a big group? Get That Chicken Baby!
Not a great overall experience. First of all, we love the flushing location and have gone to it for years. But this location was not great. Our original order couldnt be fulfilled because they were missing two menu items. So we settled on fries and a medium boneless split two flavors. After waiting over 40 mins, we got our fries and then shortly after the chicken. The chicken was in small portions, the soy garlic was barely seasoned and we received a different flavor than the hickory bbq we asked for.The waiter never came back to check and see how the food was so we never got the opportunity to express the flavor mix up. (The reciept even said hickory bbq on it despite getting something else!) Such a disappointment because we love the original location. Don't recommend.
Yummmmm!!!! Ordered Kimchi Fries, Mac & Cheese, Soy Garlic Wings, Nachos and Bulgogi Bowl! It was delicious!!! Can't wait to go back! Oreo was our server and very professional and friendly.
Went to the Bayside Mad For Chicken during lunchtime service. They had 1 waiter and although he was great and doing his best, they probably needed three. Chicken wings were very large. The prices are high but the wings are very good. The pickled daikon was a bit too raw and could have spent more time in the brine. The fries were good. The chicken sandwiches were just ok.
Good food....good music...great service...returned and really enjoyed the scallion chicken. The service at this location is really friendly and super helpful.
Waited so long for waitress to come..chicken was dry.Still sitting here waiting for waitress and it’s not even busy.Menu is good for high school studentsWill not be returning here
“Vitality” was my waiter.. 5 star service!!!! The food here is absolutely DELICIOUS.I recommend MAD FOR CHICKEN if you want the best chicken you will ever have.. TRUST ME.. YOU HAVE TO GO NOW.. Bayside NY. on BELL BLVD. especially on the weekends . It gets packed and the music is jumping.
This is my second time here , first time was a little disappointing food was amazing but service was lacking .... But this time made up for it. Today was busier and definitely less staff but some how they pulled it off and provided amazing service with top quality food! Started off with the truffle fries and dumplings which were very good but you definitely have to try the soy ginger drumsticks !!! Out of this world ! We also had the spicy chicken bowl. Everything hit the spot ! Will be coming back for moreBianca , Jackie and the manager did An amazing job on a busy night while being short staffed
