Order one red curry and one green curry, to be honest, I can say that I’ve had much better Thai curry from other restaurants. Their curry was more like water, neither had thickness nor flavor :) also so much oil in curry. This was my personal opinion, however my girl thought it was really yummy!
Came here just to try something new. If you are to come here order your normal popular thai dishes. We ordered pad kee mao with crispy pork, was pretty good and tasty. The Thai basil eggplant didn't really have much eggplant mostly onions, sting beans and pork. The soft shell crab did not taste fresh and was super sweet and came with mostly vegetables.
My girlfriend and I were in the area (far from home) and stopped in here because of the great reviews of authentic flavors, good service and portions. We must agree with what everyone else is saying, Ma Kin serves up delicious curries, eggplant, fried rice and very interesting and creative appetizers including one shrimp, pork and mushroom dumpling which the chef offered us a sample of. Thank you! They were delicious and looked as good as they tasted. Next time we are in the area we'd love to sit and explore more of the great looking menu, and confidently venture from curry and fried rice with the guidance of the friendly and skilled staff at Ma Kin.
I ordered from here three times and each time I wasn't disappointed well, the 3rd time I was a little disappointed because they were being cheap with the mangos for the mango sticky rice which is delicious. I highly recommend it. I also had the pineapple fried rice, curry puff, and shrimp pad thai. The food is delicious.
Came here for the first time 2 weeks ago with my cousin. Ma Kin Thai is the best thai place in the area! I ordered cashew nut with pork, while my cousin ordered red curry with crispy duck (it wasnt really spicy). Both meals were really good! Ma Kin Thai also has butterfly pea tea (which we also tried and it was delicious)! The portions for the price are amazing!Fast forward to now, I ordered delivery through Uber Eats 2 days ago. I got red curry with duck because it looked really good when my cousin ordered it! Then my dad got Thai fried rice with beef. We also got Thai iced tea to drink. I wish Ma Kin Thai had butterfly pea tea on delivery apps! When I had dine in the restaurant was also very clean and had hand sanitizers on every table!
Did a pickup order here and man was it delicious. Curry puffs, spicy basil beef, pad Thai - all excellent. Authentic flavors and so fresh - with high end ingredients. Not to be missed.
Ordered pad Thai and curry puffs .. pad Thai was okay but the curry puffs were literally cold.. not even like warm to say they cooled down but as if they weren’t even heated to begin with ..and as an update on this.. even the pad was crazy greasy and just felt rushed.. I get it that it’s dinner time but I’d rather wait a little extra and get decent food I could finish rather than throw away. Won’t be ordering here anymore.
I read other review saying this thai restaurant food is good, so I give it a try.I ordered basil fried rice with beef $15, wings (12 pieces)$17, both did not disappoint me.I like the basil fried rice with rich basil aroma, sweetness, crunchy vegetable (string bean and onion), freshness of beef slices. The wings was garlic and sweet. It could be a bit crunchier, but no complaint on a to-go order.
My fiancé & I were searching Google for a place to eat & stumbled across this restaurant. The restaurant was clean & so cute! We chose to dine outdoors to enjoy the weather. Our server was very friendly & kind (wish I got their name.) Everything we ordered was FANTASTIC! They also have a grade A. Appetizers (5/5 ): We started off with the Crispy Creme (crab meat & cream cheese in a crispy wanton) & the Fresh Rolls (veggie rolls with peanut sauce.) Both appetizers were phenomenal! DRINKS (5/5): I had the Butterfly Blue Tea for the first time ever & it was pretty refreshing! The colors are beautiful, in the light you can see rings on blue & purple. Looks like magic! I added a little bit of sugar for preference. Overall still amazing! My fiancé had the Thai Iced Tea & it's cool to see the swirls when you mix the layers of the drink together! Also very good flavor. Loved both beverages. Entrees (5/5 ): I had the Spicy Basil with beef at a level 2 spice (Spice level 1-5) with a side of Jasmine rice. It was honestly the perfect amount of spice for me. The flavors were great! My fiancé had the Pineapple Fried Rice with Crispy Pork (THE PORK IS AMAZING!) DESSERT (4/5): We had the Coconut pudding, flavor was good, texture was chewy but still really good! Overall 5/5: If it was out of 10 I would rate it an 11! Would definitely recommend coming here & trying some of their amazing food! Will definitely be coming back again. Thank you!
The curry puffs were great. The garlic entree is my favorite Thai dish around. Consistently good food.
