Omg so I took my parents here to meet my fiancés parents which I thought would be awkward but thankfully the service and atmosphere of this restaurant made everything so smooth and extremely comfortable. We felt so casual, the service was top knotch, the service and overall care from Ernesto and staff was beyond anything I’ve ever experienced. Thank you so much for making our evening amazing !!!! The food was delicious as well! 10/10
Just visited this authentic Greek restaurant today and it hit the spot. The grilled octopus was amazing, as someone who is not the biggest fan of octopus ? they did a great job.I recommend ordering family style and sharing all the tasty dishes. Everything we tried was flavorful and the staff were great.
Food is very good. Staff works very hard, and it's always busy. It's on the expensive side, but the location is fabulous! Would definitely recommend.

I keep going back to Loukomi and confirm this to be one of the best Greek restaurants in Astoria. Food is good and fresh. Prices are reasonable!!Love Loukoumi Taverna!!!
The gigande Lima beans were delicious. I think I finished my branzino enough to make any seafood lover proud. Their fish was delicious. My handsome companion got the Black Sea bass and it was huge! Really well done and the service was fantastic. At the end of dinner they give you complimentary Turkish delight. Yumm!
The food here was horrible. The calamari was undercooked and tasted raw. And the shrimp tasted old and had a bad smell to it.
My best friend and I had dinner last night at Loukoumi Taverna and we had a wonderful experience! Our waitress, Chrisa, was really attentive to us and the sweetest! For appetizers we had kolokithokeftedes (pan fried zucchini patties with cheese). It was so delicious, we ordered another serving! I had the shrimp saganaki with Greek fries, and my friend had the biftekia (beef). We both left full and happy! The restaurant had a wonderful Greek village atmosphere, with Greek music playing. I highly recommend this restaurant and I will definitely be a returning customer.
