Thank you guys, I bought 2 cakes on 07/15/22 . It was delicious and well presented, everybody at the party said it good so it is. Keep it up ??
Whenever I'm in the area, I always stop and get their delicious pate, bread, and cake. For a business that's been around for many years, they've never lost their touch.
All the parties were fresh and amazing and halal. Good people will be coming regularly inshAllah!
Le bon pain needs better customer and cashier service. Yesterday, I went to purchase some patties and bread, and the man at the cash register overcharged me $10. Nobody at the store wants to refund me my money nor take responsibilities for it. After multiple complaints I decided to leave the $10 for them and take my business elsewhere. It's a shame that an established business in the Haitian community can't refund $10 to a customer that they overcharged.
I'm not Haitian, or even West Indian, but WOW what excellent patties!!! So flaky and then bursting with flavors. Can't wait to get called back to the Access-a-Ride center, so I can get more.
Not worth the drive at all!! There’s more flour than actual meat. I was expecting light, flaky like it used to be after Sunday church back in Haiti.Don’t believe the hype! This ain’t it.
This place has been in the neighborhood for decades.- Haitian Caribbean bakes and pastries.- Our go-to for pain (bread) and paté (patties). The quality (over the months and years) has fluctuated from passable and great.I have purchased a dozen Haitian patties, making no stops, and only half a dozen make it home with me 1/4 mile away. They also make other stuff my Nieces go crazy for.As of now/today (04/05/2022), quality (of the patties) seem to be in the 'good' category (not braggable great).Disclaimer: I have not been in about a month. Patties could be great now.HOWEVER:The people are ALWAYS professional and efficient. All around great people. Great neighborhood business - I will forever support. It would be a sad sad day if they were not there one day...
I love this place. Every time I visited NYC, I’d have to go to get some fresh patties and other delicious goodies. Now that I live here, I may it a point to visit every week.
My first time. Great patties. Bakery is good and smells delicious Fast service. I will be returning
Pate (Patty) is buttery and flaky. Pain Patat (loosely translated bread pudding) is delicious.
