Use to work here years ago!! Love their food and desserts. Recommend the flan! I love when they have sweet potatoes yams on the buffet table, so good!! Avoid rush hour if possible because it gets super busy. A local place to get delicious food for us lga workers
After a disastrous day at the airport and flights being cancelled stopped here to get out of the hotel and away from trash vending machine food .Walked a few blocks up the street and we were treated with hospitality and amazing food !One of my best experiences in New York ???The staff and food are wonderful!
K Lo K MI GENTE!!? As a Dominican, this joint was Slamming!!! Super authentic so authentic it reminds you of grand ma's cooking. The spices, the flavor of the BEANS, the meat, the rice was on point. They also also sell empanadas too? #LaBanderaWould totally come back!!
Brought two plates of mango and a side order of chicharrón. Mango was ok but chicharrón (pork sink) taste horrible and old. Told them to try it if they didn’t believe me they just threw it in the garbage .Tried to tell them quietly and they got mad at me like it’s my fault so this is why I’m writing a review. Their customer service wasn’t good in the end. Last time I’m going there.
The food is always hot and made fresh. I love the cat fish and fries. This is the only spot in the area with catfish.
Was staying overnight near the airport. This restaurant was recommended to us by a hotel clerk. A short walk and we were in a locally owned home cooking shop. It was excellent food, friendly staff, clean, and the owner, Rosa, made us feel right at home.

Wow ... this is a great place! Staff are so awesome and friendly. This is comfort food if you like carribean food!! Delish!! Mofongo, tostones, empanada, and more! Definitely visit and get some great grub!!
