Great spot for coffee and desserts in Forest Hills! Love the vibe and atmosphere because it’s like you’re in France all of a sudden. My latte came out perfectly and the pastries were excellent!! I have to go back and try the other pastries. Not only is it pretty but it’s really delicious and of high quality. Highly recommend this place.

Simple setting yet with quality food. Tuna sandwich was clean and healthy. Coffee was on point and fresh made.

I'm so lucky to have La Boulangerie in my neighborhood. Been a fan for years. Most recently, I brought my dad 2 tarts and a box of macrons for his 81st birthday in Rhode Island. He was so happy: "I have never tasted anything so wonderful in my life." He polished of both tarts and split 2 macrons with me. ? Amazing. Thank you!!!

I love this place in Forest Hills. They call it, “A little corner of France in Forest Hills.”They have the most delicious creamy hot chocolate, which is the main reason I come here. It is such a treat. It is behind the Catholic church I go to on Sundays. They have other beverages of course, and they do have breads, other pastries, and cake. A chef bakes these, and another chef prepares the soups, salads, sandwiches, and other food they serve. They just make small batches of their stuff, and mostly use organic ingredients, which explains the pricing. They arent on the cheaper side of the spectrum. This is a small place, with one medium-sized communal table and few small tables indoor, but in the warmer days, they do have several tables outdoors. It is situated on the quieter part of Austin St and behind a church, so one can enjoy the goodies this place offers without people frequently looking in on you while you eat or cars honking or passing by every so often. It is quite a find. Come by and enjoy some French over here. I highly recommend!

Always wanted to stop by the bakery and didn't have a chance until today. Ordered 4 macarons and paid the same price for all 4 of them. However, they are all difference sizes. If you're going to charge me the same price for all 4 macarons, please try to make them all the same sizes. Delicious but ridiculous.

My two star rating is based solely on the cost to eat in or take out from this charming shop not the quality.. Apparently the owners are only concerned with people who can afford their high prices. Most of us on fixed incomes will find this place impossibly expensive. They have an extensive menu, very impressive in fact. Many of their baked goods I can get at a fraction of what they charge. I just felt it was my duty to represent senior citizens on fixed incomes and give my opinion.

Yum, yum, yum. Visited a friend in forest hills and stopped in for a coffee... But ended up getting more. There was a line out the door, but for good reason. I had a coffee, crossaint, and took half a loaf of sour dough home. The sour dough was phenomenal! Honestly some of the best I've had in NYC. Ate it with some Irish butter, strawberry preserves, and just plain. My friend also told me they do some decent hot food as well.

They finally brought their meringues back, which was what brought me in this visit. They were delicious. All of their baked goods have been great. I haven't been as big a fan of their regular menu, but it is a bakery after all. Place is tiny, and there's currently a long wait just to get inside and order to go. Try and visit at off hours to avoid this.

Pastries are delicious And so is the coffee. I’m a long life customer!

A great place for fresh pastries, bread, soup and coffee. Friendly staff and fast service.
