Delicious halal cart with affable proprietor. The falafel is incredibly fresh!EDIT: Just had it a second time. I’ve had halal platters in almost every borough, across many years, and this is maybe the absolute best halal I’ve encountered. The mixed platter just fired on every possible cylinder. You will not be disappointed.

Honestly, I would come here just for the guy that owns/works here. Friendly funny personable dude who often gets me confused with someone else but that could also just be a method of customer service. I hope haha Their mixed platter is on point and they did increase their prices recently just FYI but it’s definitely worth it. Their hot sauce is also quite mild so I hope they make a spicier one someday. Other than that, 10/10 for food+service.
Favorite Halal of my life! Not to mention the price! Not to mention the customer service! Everything about king halal checks all the boxes and more. Ahmed truly cares about the quality of his food and the experience of his customers.I cannot see myself going anywhere else for Halal :) . 6/5 if it were possible!
There are many Halal joints in Astoria but this joint takes the cake! Quality & quantity is there and for a throwback reasonable price of $7 a platter with a soda..nuff said! Definitely going back, highly recommended, my order of mix chicken/lamb with extra white and hot sauce was delicious and Definitely hit the spot! ? ?
Best Halal food I’ve had in a minute, U won’t regret ordering from here everything was spot on from the meat to the rice to the falafels it was all amazing ✨ (yes I asked for extra white sauce it’s great!)
Hands down the BEST halal cart in Astoria. I’ve tried them all. Multiple times. This is by far the best. The lamb and chicken and falafel and rice and white sauce and hot sauce…honestly, everything is just amazing! And a free drink?! Yes please.Try it…you won’t be disappointed.
Ahmed is a great guy who makes delicious halal food. I've lived around 30th Ave for a long time, used to get other halal trucks when I was craving it, there are some good ones but never really fully satisfied the craving; not the right spices, white sauce is different, etc. I saw King Halal and figured I'd give him a shot, and not only was the food amazing and had the taste I was looking for, I had a great conversation with Ahmed as he was working his magic. Will definitely be going back whenever the craving hits.

Great veggies combinations not like other standard carts where they throw just Lettuce and a dice of tomatoe on top. Here you get more, chicken is juicy and packed with flavor, huge amount of food. I couldn't finish it. Yet i couldn't stop eating, and the owner will make your day with his positive vibes.
