Great food and service, good portions and also I recommend el chilcano de Pisco excelente
The staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming. The food was delicious and satisfying
Ceviche, grilled corn causa, pulpo were delicious. Aji de Gallina goes great with rice but too much n too rich for 2 people only recommend if you have a big group. Chicha morada (purple corn juice?) great drink without the alcohol. Overall everything was GREAT!!
Omg this place is amazing. Their food is very flavorful and well prepared. I could just tell the chef really put their heart and soul in the cooking process because it tastes amazing. I hope they never change the authenticity to it. We ordered the Ceviche mixto and the calamari for appetizers and 2 rounds of margaritas with 4 flavors (traditional, coconut, passion fruit, and raspberry) everything tasted sooo good. We ordered Lomo Saltado and the Skirt steak for the main. It was all perfectly made. I can’t stop talking about it. We thank you for this experience. And will come back here over and over again.
This is how you do it. Take notes to other Peruvian spots out there. Atmosphere 10/10, friendly and attentive staff. Food was out of this world, was recommended some dishes to try, such as the octopus and it blew me away. Portions per $ 10/10. My first trip there today and my family & I were already talking about what we would order on our next visit. Thank you for helping me celebrate my birthday as well. Would highly recommend!
Their food are rich and well flavored I have to say. Almost all of the dishes were outstanding… except the steak. We ordered medium-rare but it was over cooked and hard to chew.My friend who visited before said it should be way more softer. So we told the server and the person insisted it was middle-rare with an unfriendly attitude, feeling like we meant it. We were not asking for anything but asked the person to check with the chef. But no one got back to us.It’s still a place that worth to try, but I hope their staff can be more professional when addressing food issues with visitors. The rate is based on the experience. I would give 4 or 5 if this didn’t happen.
Excellent food and service all around. Servers were very attentive and friendly throughout the night.I always try the 'tres leches' looking for the best, and I'm so happy to find it here. It has the right consistency in the sponge, right ratios of the milks and the cream and the ? the top for a pretty garnish with lime that gives it and excellent finish! ? (delivery?... yes!) but go and judge yourselves, and if you find anything better, please let me know!I had the steak, and it was just so juicy and perfectly cooked. it came with a yummy mix of potatoes and veggies. The rest of the appetizers were excellent, and they seemed to have really fun cocktails. I'll probably try next time.I also tried the Peruvian Black Whiskey (corn) and wasn't too crazy about it neat, but maybe in a cocktail, it will go better.
I've been to this place countless times. I always love it here. It is 100% Peruvian with a modern spin on it, and worth going back to everytime. From delicious food to wonderful staff, Jora is the #1 restaurant in the neighborhood. 10/10.
