Can’t believe it took me so long to come here - such a great place with outstanding food. The pulled pork and brisket were the stars but the cornbread was out of this world. Definitely come here on an empty stomach because you will be full by the time you leave. They have live music and a nice outdoor seating area which is the icing on the cake!

We had a catered event and got to try a little bit of everything and the food was excellent. Notable favorites are the brisket, rib tips, cornbread, and Mac and cheese. The meat was incredibly tender and flavorful because they have a smoker. I tried the regular bbq sauce and the spicy mustard, both were really tasty. There’s also a large, lovely patio/garden outback. You won’t be disappointed.
Spicy chopped beef was so good! So was the corn bread (even if it was surprisingly the soft crumbly, almost-pudding-like kind.). Can’t wait to return and try the rest of the menu!Went midday (~3pm on a Monday). Not busy at all. Good and fast service.
Man, you're gonna love this place. Food is great, ambience is great, and prices are really good. My favorite sandwich was the brisket one, so tender and juicy, lots of flavor. I also tried the pastrami sandwich and the signature sandwich: John Brown Pastrami on rye with coleslaw and suisse cheese. Do the signature one, better than the regular one. There's just one thing that bothers me just a little, you need a more consistent white bread, after 2 bites the sandwich felt apart. Still great food.
Called here on the way to collect 2 colleagues from JFK. We just wanted a quick bite before meeting them. Once we found the place, we were suitably surprised by how packed it was on a Sunday afternoon, always a good sign.we had fries a Steak sandwich and a beer each, all tasted awesome. Place was full of couples, friends and large families that lead to a great atmosphere, would recommend a visit if your nearby
Staff was nice. Especially the lady tending the tables. Fries were well seasoned and nicely fried. Mac and cheese had good flavoring. But that's about it.Brisket was terribly dry. Shouldn't need sauce to make it good, but we had to in this case. It was lunch time, not even dinner/end of day.Even though cut right.... it didn't do well on the bend test.I didn't order ribs...but saw people enjoying them. Don't think we'd go back there...unless someone I know vouches for another meat.
