Great restaurant in Downtown Flushing!Very delicious!!!! Everything that I had was so yummy. The shredded cabbage was probably the best thing I got. It had a smoky taste and great flavor. The walnut shrimp was crisp and had a hint of sweetness from the cream sauce and caramelized walnuts. And the soup dumplings did not disappoint.I wish I knew the name of the drink I got. I can’t seem to find it on the website. But anyways, the drink was SO good and so pretty. I believe it had Lychee juice in it. Service was also great. I didn’t make a reservation and I was able to get a table no problem, despite it being very busy.
Environment and food was spot on. We got the barramundi in aged pickle sauce to share and loved it. Fried milk dessert was pretty good as well, but inside was still a bit cold and it tasted oily. Outside was really crispy though.Felt rushed towards the end though, but overall still a pleasant experience. Would come back with family for sure.
The restaurant is right next to COOP and serves various Chinese/Sichuan style meals alongside unique plates. If you want pecking duck, make sure to come early as it can be very busy and will run out before dinner time. If you are not a fan of spicy make sure to let them know because they are very generous with the chilis.
As the name suggests, the peking duck is not a specialty of the region, and it shows. Dry and flavorless. Skip it and get other dishes from the area
Amazing service, food, drinks, and fair prices. If you're looking for a high quality chinese restaurant with many authentic options and DELICIOUS drinks, go to Jiang Nan. The servers checked on us frequently and served us our sizzling platter and pineapple juice with a fun flourish. We got the chicken and goji berry soup as a starter which was packed with flavor. I highly recommend eating family style here. We got honey walnut shrimp, cumin lamb, and fried rice to share, all of which were super flavorful. The decor and ambiance were pretty, relaxing, and soothing. This is definitely one of our new favorite spots and we will be returning! Make sure to mention any allergies.
We always bring people who don't know what they want to eat here. They have a good variety of foods that range of foods. They have an excellent Peking duck but the portion is small. The grilled fish is a specialty of theirs. We like the luffa dish when it is in season. The appetizers are also a nice as starters. It gets pretty busy on weekends you can join the waitlist using yelp.
Finally got to try this place and it is amazing! Out of everything we ordered, I like the pecking duck the most. Also, I tried bullfrog for the first time here and it was surprisingly delicious. Also, got to say the service was amazing, super caring and professional.
This is my go-to spot for excellent chinese food in Flushing. The ambience and decor are top notch. The food - amazing! Try their peking duck - tender, succulent duck. Trust me, this is one of the best peking duck you will ever have. They also have gigantic fish in a hearty broth perfect for those cold days. But the main reason why I always comeback is their Mapo Tofu. I’ve eaten quite a few Mapo Tofu’s in my lifetime, but Jiang Nan’s Mapo Tofu is by far the best one I’ve had.To be honest, I have tried almost everything in their menu and I haven’t been disappointed with any of their options. Jiang Nan is a place where you can relax and dine with your friends and family.
Delicious food. a bit pricey but the portion each dish is decent. It’s not the best choice for 2 ppl dining, best for party of 4 or more. The drawback was the floor entire the restaurant was so slippery and difficult to walk.
Hmmm I randomly picked this restaurant just because it was bit late and only this one still got full of people. Lamb chop was deep fried not what I expected but taste was not bad and meat was tender & juicy. Chili pepper bullfrog was good I could taste the freshness. Worth a try, but nothing impressive lol
