Finally gave this place a try. I always wondered why people go to a diner. But when I came here for breakfast, now I know why. The mood was good, the service was great. Servers were courteous and there was always someone going around offering coffee refills. The food was like home cooked food. When I want to eat at a diner, I would definitely come back to this diner.
Spacious dining area with no wait time. Food was hot, fresh and delicious. Friendly staff. Unlimited coffee was great with my oversized waffle. No rush to seat others which was important since I was with a loquacious friend. Can't wait to have dinner at Jax Inn Dinner.
We came to Jax Inn Diner about a week ago, and arrived at a time when it wasn’t too busy (Say Tuesday around 5 PM) and the place was instantly very welcoming. The staff was very attentive and constantly checked on us which was great. Hubs had a burger and I had the fish and chips! It was sooooo good!! The fish was very fresh and the fries were crispy. Hubs made a mistake by ordering the burger well done, but that was his fault (don’t ever order something well done) overall a great place, will come back to try the rest!
This place is so great! I ordered the Fried Calamari. They are huge rings plus they guve you a fresh tasting Marinara dip. The beverages aren't free refills but I was okay with water anyway ❤ ? the waitress was super nice. Our service wasn't rushed and it was not too packed. Will be returning for some more Calamari!!
Great location. Has free parking space behind it. Very clean and cozy inside. Very pleasant staff. Delicious food and reasonable prices. Excellent customer service.
As an uber delivery driver I see many people excited for the food here and also get to view the many different things they have on the menu with each of the orders. Everything always smells and looks amazing. I've been here twice now for breakfast and had the best pancakes ever. Staff is always really kind and attentive. All around great place to go when you're in Queens!
Came here on a random Thursday afternoon with my boyfriend. Staff was super friendly and attentive. I got the waffle with breakfast sausage and it was delicious. My boyfriend got the blueberry pancakes with eggs and bacon. He enjoyed that as well. Definitely no complaints!
The portobello chicken sandwich is good the bread was to dry like old,, but the kale chicken salad was delicious, coffee not strong like used to be, the waitress was very nice and so professional, not cheap, not expensive,, fair prices ,by the way both dishes came w/ chicken soup, lunch special,, is a great option,

VERY generous portions. The food was tastier than your average diner.
