Clean and sanitary restaurant! With fresh, hot food served buffet style. Appreciated it after a completely opposite experience at the Jerk Hut across the street on Merrick Blvd earlier in the day. SMH. Will never patronize that Jerk Hut location again, unless I want to get sick.Thank you Jamaica Breeze for your hospitality, delicious food, and professional environment!!! Will be back and recommend your restaurant to Anyone!!!
I got a small tray with 2 small pieces of jerk chicken and a small piece of curry chicken and thats it and that was about 7 bucks. I could have gone to other restaurants like Smokehouse or Jamaican flavors and added a few bucks and gotten a whole meal. To top it off, after I paid, I said "thank you" to the cashier and got no response. My friend recommended this place to me today, but I definitely ain't leaving Saint Albans to drive this far for inferior food and rude service at this place again.
They have quite a selection of food with original and authentic Caribbean taste. The staff is very friendly and helpful.
I made a medium plate of Rice n peas with ox Tail and Jerk pork. A piece of Mac n cheese. The pork was tender and the oxtail was also good. I have had the Mac n cheese here before but today it looked really dry and sad with no cheese in it. It wasn’t good today.
Wow and not a good wow! This place suckssss. Price and quality plus attitude from employees equals disaster. I had only a couple of wings and two shrimps a festival and cost me $20 the chicken was Ice cold and hard At least if your gonna charge these ridiculous prices make sure the food is hot. I would not recommend take your hard earned money elsewhere.
I wanted to try there food so today is the day I went there even though I was late to work I got 2 shrimps 2 small wingettes with mash potato first of all the food was cold not fresh and mind you I went there at 11 am thinking the food would be fresh shrimps was mushy the the mashed potato was tasteless I wouldn't recommend and I paid for that $20 when I asked how much they charging for pound they said they charging for the shrimp price 8.99 a pound I think it's over priced for that food it's not fresh and tasteless. I wouldn't recommend take your money elsewhere
This is a little treasure in New York! First of beside the amazing food here this place is so clean!!! I had a little bit of everything today the jerk chicken and the fry fish and the curry chicken yummy ?? and I love that you can pick out whatever you like!
The breakfast was not hot or warm when I got it home in a 5min drive.,which lead me to believe it is stall or left over breakfast
Omg what a feast and you self serve. The Covid19 protection is in place 100%.So much food its hard to choose, I wanted to eat it all.
The best way to buy food here is to only get it in the small container and just get a light meal. Dont put any shrimp or crab legs in there because they charge an extra $4. Also dont get your beverage here. If you do it this way you can have lunch for $6 and the food is good. I love the festivals.
