Great restaurant overall. Been there many times and always receive first class service and food. It's NYC restaurant week so get and support!
My only gripe and this is nothing against the restaurant. We went during restaurant week and the portions were so small I was ready to eat dinner after I ate there . Restaurant week has become a complete ripoff , I am done trying it. They give you such minimal portions it is a total scam. Il Falco always has excellent food.
This is the best Italian restaurant in Long Island City. The staff is exceptionally friendly and knowledgeable, everything is reasonably priced, and the atmosphere is lovely. The staff is also very accommodating if you want to make changes to your meal, like swapping veggies or sauces. Since I moved here a year ago I’ve been here more times than I can count. Also, their fra diavolo sauce is to die for. I can’t recommend this place enough. I’m so glad I live so close to it, and I hope they stay in business for years to come. They deserve it.
Pasta was good. The side of beans was bad. The veal was also bad. I would stick to the pasta. I felt others got better service than us.
Service was good, noise level is really dependent on the largest table there, was hoping the food would be better, but still enjoyable. Eggplant parm was not better than a good neighborhood pizzaria, so still good, but was hoping for better at an Italian restaurant. Was trying to avoid driving into the city. I think it's on par with Portofino's in Forest Hills. I think their 2nd floor had a better ambiance, but wasn't open for seating. The first floor can get very loud, but luckily for us, the loud group that was there moved out to the patio.

Absolutely excellent local gem. Great wine list and specials all seemed delicious. Service is attentive, back patio for outdoor dining is peaceful. Looking forward to future visits here!
