5 of us came here on a holiday (Memorial Day) and got a lot of dishes to share! We got two types of papaya salad and enjoyed both. The steamed fish was definitely a highlight! The fish was so fresh and the sauces that came with it was amazing. The service was wonderful and the owner (I think) talked to us about the food and how to enjoy the food properly. We did wait for about 30 minutes for a table but the place is quite small. Though, this is one of those places that is worth the wait if you want authentic Thai food!
One of the best Thai restaurants in NYC. This restaurant focuses on northern Thai food which you often do not fine. Therefore you will not see the typical Tom yum soup or pad Thai. Instead, signature dishes are in there signature Tom zap soup, fried fish, and papaya salad. They have a variety of papaya salads with my fav being the one with salted egg yolk. Recommend ordering the set for best bang for buck and sharing. Set gets you an appetizer or soup, protein entree, and sticky rice.
It's a hidden gem for Thai authentic food. I enjoyed every dishes I tried here. But larb pla and pork crepe are my go-to dishes, I ordered it everytime I eat here. I would definitely come back! However, the location is more of a small shop, sometimes you might not find a table. Take out or ubereats is good as well.
If you like Duck! Don't miss out on their Crispy duck over Thai fried rice! The tamarind sauce is almost unnoticeable but flagrantly their! Also it's enough to serve two people easy.
Larb Pla is very, very good!
I had the worst noodles in my entire life.Too salty and too sweet and it tasted simply horrible.Maybe other items here are good, but this time was just too disappointing unfortunately.
Wow. So delicious!!! This is real Thai food!!! Highly recommended!!
The food is very authentic and I like the vibes how they bring thai food to the table. Wonderful service and best thai food in town!
I loved everything we ordered. The Som Tum Thai is just as good as the ones I’ve had in Thailand. The pork bbq was excellent; tender and full of flavor. I’ll definitely be back to try their other som tum offerings and lunch specials.
Small place full of good north eastern Thai dishes. Affordable, authentic taste, great variety! The best one for me is pork belly deep fried
