Here is a 4th of July holiday dinner for (2) for under $25: Baked Macaroni & Cheese, All Beef Swedish Meatballs, German Potato Salad topped with Bacon, Fresh Chopped Garden Salad, with samples of Pierogi & Polish Mayo. Nice to walk into a business where you’re warmly greeted and given good service. Parking is good on Saturdays.

Years ago I went to the shop in forrest hills and have missed it. I just discovered this one and the food brings back such fond memories. To start I got the strudel and I haven’t had a baked good that tasted so fresh and junk free in years. I can’t wait to return snd try more of their offerings.

BBQ ribs are awesome ? pastries are delicious excellent and friendly staff.

Just about the best German deli i've ever been to. Its small and everything is so tasty. The roast beef is a must have on there egg or onion roll. Just go there you'll love it.

I have been a customer of this establishment for over 50 years. Every time I come to NYC I make a special stop to pick up food for the flight home. I wish I could live in Kew Gardens once again just for their food!

Amazing potato pierogis. Four stars for that alone. Have to try some of their other dishes.

If the neighborhood loses this place, we lose something that cannot be replaced. They have to have something you love, visit them and see!

best polish food you can get

Great selection great service. I'll come back again.

In the sudden quest for a good pastrami sandwich I decided to head over to Kew Gardens to try Homestead Gourmet. Ordered 2 pastrami sandwiches and a mushroom salad on Grubhub. When I got there in the window they had the most beautiful looking strudels, Apple, Cheese, Cherry/Cheese. Grabbed a Cherry/Cheese and some coleslaw as an impulse purchase to go with the pastrami. Sandwich was just ok but the strudel was fantastic. Wandered around Kew Gardens. Cute neighborhood.
