We ordered Thali and the food taste was really bad. We have eaten in so many Nepali/Tibetan places in Jackson Heights and this was among the not-so great. The ambience is very nice and the guy singing live songs had a great voice. But it was very noisy. But I really appreciate the effort and the intention. Please work on your food taste.

Drinks are cheapFoods are okAvoid sizzler( too much onions , literally half the dish was just fried onions and had to be discarded)We made reservations at 7 and reached there sharp just to be told that there were no seats . There was a table of 4 vacant but since we were two we were told to sit at the bar. However the server at the bar told the waitress to place us at the table since we had reservations. We ordered chicken sekuwa 9/10Chicken chowmin 7/10Chicken sizzler 3/10Drinks were woodford reserve which had crushed ice pieces. Why would you do that to a whiskey?Overall it was ok and would visit again if I was in the area.

I really enjoyed my food here had three different meats. The lamb and duck and chicken was really nice with something I never had before. Hard to explain but it was crunchy and came with a bunch of sauces on the side.

Been wanting to try this place for a while now, and it didn't disappoint! Ordered delivery and even after 45 minutes of letting it sit after being delivered (because work calls!), it was still very good! Goat curry on point, yak momos were fire, hubby loved the beef tongue. Chicken lollipops were a bit small but still tasty. Enjoyed it very much and would order again ?

Nepali restaurant mostly popular among foreigners and out of state Nepalis. Menu offers Tibetan & Indian cuisine too. Has live music in the evening after 9 pm. Love their C momo.Update: Went for dine in again after a longtime to celebrate my sister in law’s bday. All the dishes we ordered were good. But the menu has narrowed down & I liked it this way. Was disappointed a little bit coz we waited till 9:30 for the live music & had to leave without listening. Hopefully it doesn’t happen next time.

Himalayan Yak has become my favorite spot in Jackson heights when I'm in the area and very convenient to the train station too. The staff is extremely friendly and accommodating. The presentation and taste of their dishes are always impressive and satisfying. So much better quality compared to eating at a typical nyc Chinese restaurant which have sadly all lost their way.Glad I found this piece of heaven!

Food was good and the price was ight. This was the first time trying traditional food from Nepal and it was great !!! ?

I loved this place. The ambience, food, drinks everything was great. I ordered fried chicken momos sauted in chilli sauce and chowmein. The cocktails were also amazing.

Another gem of Jackson Heights! Run don’t walk to HY! They have always been a go to restaurant for me since I moved to the area 3 years ago. The prices are always reasonable and the staff is so friendly. I might be overly positive about this place but it’s still some of the best Chicken Tikka Masala I’ve had. Monos are always a classic (takes a little longer to come out - which they make a point to mention). And there is this one other dish I love getting that has crispy rice on te bottom with some tender beef on top. I always forget the name but it’s always bomb!
